Carrie Prejean Explains Sex Tape & Nipple Slips (VIDEO)
Former Miss California Carrie Prejean, who is currently promoting her new book “Still Standing”, admitted the sex tape was the biggest mistake of her life and explains she was just a teenager in love who did stupid things to make her boyfriend happy (watch video below). Who can blame her?
Carrie is handling the consequences pretty well – she is using it all to promote her book now! There is no bad publicity for Carrie. Even the former beauty queen’s mother was completely shocked when she saw her solo X-rated tape.
In her tell-all book, Carrie basically blames a naughty society completely obsessed with porn for her “dirty” behavior – nude photos, nipple slips, etc. Carrie distinguishes between mainstream porn (e.g. nipple slips, topless photos) and hard-core porn (e.g. sex tapes!) but we believe Carrie has done both. I don’t think society says it is OK to be a porn star, even homemade porn star or does it?
Carrie wrote, “Unfortunately, pornography has become mainstreamed — it rushes at us through big screens, portable screens; soft-core porn is on mainstream TV cable stations, hard-core porn is just a mouse click away on the internet, and the envelope of what seems acceptable seems to get pushed farther and farther as more and more people are exposed to this material.
The result is that girls grow up in a culture where it is hard to have an innocent, healthy, normal view of themselves, how they should behave, how they should act, and how they should dress.”
Carrie then addresses the topless pictures directly, and states, “Our bodies are temples of the Lord. We should earn respect and admiration for our hearts, not for showing skin to look sexy … I have since learned that your outer beauty can only get you so far in life.”
Now if only Carrie actually followed her own advice instead of flashing too much skin… we just hope she learned something from her own experience. It’s easy to preach when it only applies to others and you put yourself at a higher level.
