PETA’s Banned Thanksgiving Ad (VIDEO)
PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) released another controversial promotional video titled ‘Grace’, especially made for Thanksgiving – ‘Turkey Day’ – to raise awareness for the shocking factory farms conditions and disgraceful life of those poor birds, whose only destiny is to end up in some family’s dinner table.
In the ad, a little girl tells it exactly like it is for turkeys that are killed for holiday meals when asked to say grace at her family’s table (watch video below). PETA wants families to give the poor turkeys a break and find healthy and satisfying vegan substitutes.
There’s no nudity or blood but NBC refused to air the ad during the 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade because it was just too shocking for all the happy families who would be filling up their lifeless turkeys at home!
