Sarah Palin sat down and opened up about family, politics and Levi Johnston in an interview for Oprah on Monday (November 16). Sarah claims the Republican Party lost the election not because of her not being determined or prepared enough for the Vice Presidential seat but because Americans wanted a change, a different path.

“They were quite concerned about the road that America was on with our economy. They did not want more of the same. They did not want status quo. And I think, unfortunately, our ticket represented what was perceived as status quo,” she said. “I don’t think I could be blamed for losing the race any more than I could be credited with winning the race had I done a better job as a candidate,” Palin added.

Palin made sure to tell Oprah she does not know if she is going to run for President in 2012 but she clearly didn’t close the door to that possibility. “I’m looking forward to affecting positive change between then and now. I don’t know what I’m going to be doing in 2012, it’s not on my radar screen right now, as I am dealing with so many issues that are important,” Palin told Oprah.

Oprah and Palin also discussed her memoir book ‘Going Rogue’, which is why she was there, family issues and, of course, her grandson Tripp’s daddy Levi Johnston. “We don’t have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama. We’re not really into the drama, we don’t really like that. We’re more productive we have other things to concentrate on,” Palin said.

On Levi’s porn career and nude photo shoot for Playgirl, Palin defined it as ‘heartbreaking’ and wants us all to pray for the teen’s soul. Palin says Levi is using a new name and wants to be called Ricky Hollywood: “I don’t know if we call him Levi. I hear he goes by the name Ricky Hollywood now. So if that’s the case, we don’t want to mess up his gig he’s got going.” Who would have thought Sarah had such a great sense of humor?!?

Singer Janet Jackson revealed she is still mourning the tragic loss of her brother Michael Jackson and blames Dr. Conrad Murray for his death in an exclusive interview ‘In The Spotlight’ with ABC’s Robin Roberts, which will air on Wednesday (November 18). Janet stated, “He was the one that was administering … I think he is responsible.”

Janet recalls the day Michael passed away as one of the worst days of her life. Janet said, “I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call … [my assistant] said, ‘Your brother’s been taken to the hospital. It’s on CNN right now. I called everyone’s. There’s a line busy or — someone wasn’t picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya.”

Janet added, “I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that’s how I found out that he was no longer … I couldn’t believe it.”

“It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”

Janet confessed she was really close to Michael. “We were incredibly close,” she said, “A lot of similarities, his love for children and me being a baby. We would practically do everything together from morning to night every day. Everyday.” Jane’s greatest hits album comes out on Tuesday (November 17).

The ‘Couples Retreat’ movie posters for the US and British audience have one striking difference that is causing a a heated debate on whether or not it can be considered racist since the black couple (Faizon Love and Kali Hawk) was completely cut out the UK version of the poster.

Universal apologized but explained they just wanted to ‘simplify’ the poster and make it more appealing to the British public, which is going to be really difficult because the movie is horrible! Not even Kristin Davis or Kristen Bell could have saved that movie!

MTV’s ‘Remote Control’ host Ken Ober was found dead at his home on Sunday (November 15). Ken started complaining of a strong headache and flu-like symptoms the day before, went home promising to take something and see a doctor later, according to his manager Lee Kernis. Ken was 52 years old.

Van Toffler, the president of MTV Networks, said on Monday, “Ken was a great guy. His personality really brought ‘Remote Control’ to life, as well as a new style of programming for MTV. We were really flying by the seat of our pants then, and Ken was the reason it worked.”

A 5 year-old girl named Shaniya Nicole Davis, who had been reported missing last Tuesday (November 10), was found dead in Sanford, N.C., about 30 miles from where she currently lived with her mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, in Fayetteville on Monday (November 16).

The 29 year-old Mario Andrette McNeil, who had been identified as the man caught with the girl in a security video at the Comfort Suites Hotel, was promptly arrested and charged with first-degree kidnapping on Friday (November 13). On Saturday, the mother was also arrested on accusations that she “knowingly provide[d] Shaniya Davis with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude” and she “permit[ted] an act of prostitution.” (mug shots below)

The girl’s father Bradley Lockhart and his sister Carey Lockhart-Davis took care of Shaniya until last month, when her mother finally got a stable job and a place of her own. Both father and aunt made an emotional appeal to whoever had the girl to bring her back safe on CBS’s ‘Early Show’ this morning (watch video below).

Al Gore’s Current TV new video titled ‘The Stupid Virus’ pokes fun at conservatives basically calling them ignorant and even insults former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, referring to her as “Gun-Ho” (Palin’s Twitter Id) and a “TWILF.”

Current TV description: When a lab-monkey declares that President Obama wasn’t born in America, he becomes Patient Zero for a new brand of fear-based news virus – Fearus Ignoramus. We watch as the virus goes ear-borne, spreading from Rush Limbaugh to CNN to the mainstream-media to the general public. America devolves into panic, convinced its President is an illegal alien anti-Christ.

The jokes are totally distasteful, offensive and completely uncalled for at this moment! Palin is one of the easiest targets and it certainly doesn’t look good for Al Gore to be associated with this type of insults to the conservatives. Anyway, TWILF should mean ‘Tweep I’d Like To Follow’ so it might be a compliment or NOT!

The Urban Dictionary gives three definitions for TWILF: (1) Acronym, stands for “Tweep I’d like to follow,” (2) One who farts in the bathtub and bites the bubbles, and (3) Same as MILF, but aimed at Girls in their 20s!

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams let the Jack Daniels do the talking against the Buffalo Bills as Adams set off a series of middle finger salutes directed towards the Bills sideline on Sunday.

Adams started by doing the Texas Longhorns’ ‘Hook’em Horns’ hand sign. This then evolved into a double-barrel middle finger salute execution of the Bills sideline. Adams very well could have been saying “F-YOU” to all of the haters that have ragged on him for drafting Vince Young, who has had more downs than ups, but who has led the Titans to three wins in a row as of Sunday.

In the video you can tell Adams has likely been drinking a bit as he seems to have a bit more natural rhythm than he normally would. His middle finger salute is an instant classic.

The video above is a must see. It’s always funny and amusing to see a drunk-old man do stuff that he would probably normally ridicule his own players for doing.

The NFL is looking into the incident and could possibly fine Bud. He has owned the team since 1960 and was an original co-founder of the AFL.

UPDATE: Bud Adams has issued an apology for his actions, expects fine.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who has been promoting her memoir book ‘Going Rogue’, appears in short shorts and a tight, red top with the sarcastic caption “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Sarah?“ on the controversial cover of the latest issue of Newsweek Magazine.

The photo was originally taken to be featured in a special for Runner’s World Magazine (more hot photos here) and Photoshopped to represent a declaration of war, basically telling us Sarah is HOT but she is nothing but trouble. Tell us what you think about the Newsweek cover? Is Newsweek on a crusade against Palin??

Chicago Public Schools Board President Michael Scott’s body was reportedly found floating in the Chicago River on Monday morning (November 16). The body found in the river hasn’t been officially identified yet but evidence leads to believe the body is Scott’s because his car, a Cadillac, was found nearby.

“I’m stunned,” Rev. Jesse Jackson said. “Michael was so effervescent. [He] always had a capacity to solve problems, that’s why people leaned on him. Everyone felt Michael was their guy.”

“My wife and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Michael Scott,” Cook County Board President Todd Stroger said in a statement. “Mr. Scott was a strong advocate for education. His contributions to the minority communities of Cook County will be sorely missed. In particular, his love for the upward mobility of residents from Chicago’s Westside where he spent his life.”

Scott had been recently subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury looking into the admissions practices of Chicago’s elite schools and was involved in Olympic-related real estate dealings. There are no more details on Scott’s tragic death. He had been reported missing this morning.
