British actor Edward Woodward died after battling several illnesses including pneumonia in a hospital in Cornwall, England, on Monday (November 16). He was 79 years old.

In a statement, his agent Janet Glass says: “Universally loved and admired through his unforgettable roles in classic productions such as Breaker Morant, The Wicker Man, Callan, The Equalizer and many more, he was equally fine and courageous in real life, never losing his brave spirit and wonderful humour throughout his illness.

“He was further sustained by the love of his wife, Michele, children, Tim, Peter, Sarah and Emily, his grandchildren and numerous friends. His passing will leave a huge gap in many lives.”

The actor was best known for his roles in cult horror film ‘The Wicked Man’ and hit TV Series ‘Callan’ and ‘The Equalizer’ for which he won a Golden Globe in 1987. Edward is survived by his second wife, actress Michele Dotrice, their daughter, and two sons and a daughter from his first marriage.

The answer was “No, at any price.” Carrie is still not considering the possibility she can, in fact, make more money with the 8 videos and 30 nude photos (read complete details) than selling books her entire life. The former beauty queen, who lied about being underage when she shot the infamous X-rated tapes, is at a dead end and her only chance now is to sue the Miss Cali pageant for leaking the settlement therefore revealing she had a sex tape.

Singer Aubrey O’Day, who recently posed completely naked for Playboy (photos), continues to prove she feels comfortable in her own skin by exposing her body again for Maxim Magazine. The 25 year-old is currently taking a break from her controversial peep show at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Here are some highlights from Aubrey’s Maxim interview:

On Shaving: “I’m fully groomed down there—clean-shaven. But I have a new appreciation of the ’70s girls–bushy and free.”

On Cologne: “Wearing too much cologne is never sexy. It screams insecurity and/or means he’s overcompensating for something.”

Actress Farrah Fawcett’s will seems to include some shocking revelations: not only she excluded her life partner Ryan O’Neal, but she reportedly left a small portion of her fortune ($96,000) to former Texas football player Greg Lott, who had claimed to have a secret longtime affair with the actress (photos below).

Greg accuses Ryan of keeping him away from the actress when she most needed him but claims that Farrah’s decision to leave him a part of her estate is the proof she did not forget him. When Greg publicly revealed love lovers from the actress, Ryan had called him “disgruntled ex-boyfriend from the sixties.”

Greg says, “I am a beneficiary of her estate. I have been asked to maintain the confidentiality of the estate, which I must respect.

“This news that I am indeed in her will and Ryan is not raises some serious questions about why he prevented me from seeing the love of my life in her final months. Farrah meant the world to me and I know that I equally had a profound impact on her. I cannot understand how those around her chose to keep me from her.”

The football player claims to have been Farrah’s first love when they met back in the sixties and also her last love. Greg said he talked to her a couple of months before she died. Mexican footballer (soccer for us Americans) Antonio de Nigris is dead at the age of 31 according to Breaking News.  The veteran striker died from an apparent heart attack in Greece.

Nigris had played with the Mexican national team for eight years.  He also had played professionally around the world.  His last team was Larissa.  Antonio’s younger brother Aldo de Nigris is also a soccer player

His death comes as a shock to the world football community.

‘Leave It To Lamas’ star Shayne Lamas was arrested for DUI when she willingly drove through a check point in Venice, California, at around 1 am on Saturday (November 14), according to PopEater.

Shayne released the following statement: “Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing. However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite.”

She later added, “I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself.”

Shayne must be really desperate to increase her daddy’s reality show ratings because this sounds more like a big publicity stunt than anything else. One way or another, Shayne will have to go to court for a misdemeanor charge on December 9.
