Tyler Perry’s Mother, Willie Maxine Perry, Died At 64 (Photos)
Actor/director/producer Tyler Perry announced that his 64 year-old mother, Willie Maxine Perry, who reportedly inspired his most popular character Madea, has passed away on Tuesday (December 8). Tyler, who recently admitted he was victim of abuse as a child, wrote a message to his fans on his official website to thank fans for their support and prayers.
There is no information on the cause of death. Willie Maxine was a preschool teacher at the New Orleans Jewish Community Center. Our condolences to the family especially to Tyler.
