Such a tragety, My own son Died on December 20th we had to bury him on Christmas Eve too. This is a parents worst nightmare. My heart goes out to the family, I know what they are going through. It’s going to take a long time to adjust to this. Though you will never totally get over it ever. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just because she felt she was lucky to have gotten this far, and past some troubles she had in the past, and just because she says that someone might have died from what she went through, that doesn’t sound to me like she’s foreshadowing her death. I took it to mean she felt that she had weathered the storm and was grateful where she was at that point. Obviously, no one knew she would soon die, but she was clearly feeling grateful right then.
