Brittany Murphy Shocking ‘Deadline’ Poster Recall
RedBox, a DVD rental company, is working on removing every outdoor promotional poster of Brittany Murphy’s movie “Deadline”, where the actress seems to be dead in a bathtub, after her tragic death on Sunday (December 20).
According to the first reports, Brittany had been found unconscious in the shower by her mother Sharon Murphy. This disturbing image will take around 7 to 10 days of emergency recall to completely disappear from 19,000 kiosks around the country. The movie’s distribution company is reportedly also working on changing the DVD cover.

Can you say “collector’s item”? I think in these cases they should just leave the damn thing alone. In the future, people aren’t going to say: “Hey, look, it’s a horror movie”, thanks to this, they’ll say: “You know? The chick there died and they had to change the cover of the movie!”.
