Charlie Sheen Arrested For Assaulting Brooke Mueller (Mugshot, PHOTOS)

Actor Charlie Sheen, Denise Richard’s ex-husband, was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident involving his wife, Brooke Mueller, in Aspen, Collorado, on Christmas day (December 25). Brooke, who later registered a 0.13 in blood alcohol tests, called 911 at 9:34 am.

When the cops arrived they arrested Charlie for felony second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, which is all related to a “domestic violence component”. Charlie’s rep said, “Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion.”

Charlie apparently told the authorities Brooke was the aggressor and that he was just trying to defend himself the best her could. Charlie was presented to a judge and has been released from the Pitkin County Jail on $8,500 bond. He will return to court on February 8, 2010.
