Brooke Mueller & Charlie Sheen Domestic Violence: Police Report Nasty Details
Actor Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller were involved in a heated domestic dispute clouded by alcohol that ended with his arrest in Aspen, Colorado, on Christmas morning (December 25). After Brooke called 911 (listen to audio here), the cops went to the house where they talked to both Brooke and Charlie before arresting the “Two And A Half Men” actor.
Officer Rick Magnuson first talked to Charlie, who confessed to have been having marital problems because of his wife’s jealousy, in the basement. Charlie claims it all started at 3:30 am when he “shared a song for his daughter whom he fathered with another woman”, which led a drunk Brooke to threaten to divorce him and take their children (twin boys) with her. The actor admits it got physical and that they had each slapped the other on the arm. He said he took Brooke’s eyeglasses and broke them in front of her too.
Brooke told the cops their argument started in the bedroom when she told him she wanted a divorce. Charlie was completely mad and reportedly grabbed her by the throat while straddling her on the bed. Brooke claims Charlie pulled a knife and held it to her throat, threatening, “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you. Your mother’s money means nothing. I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave any trace.”
Brooke, who was in pain and scared, told him “You’re right. You’re right. You’re right. I’m sorry. I love you,” to make him stop. The cops observed red marks on her neck consistent with her version of the events. As for the knife described as “a pocket knife,” a switchblade, Charlie said he had, in fact, folded one in his travel bag, which was outside the bedroom.
