Morgan Freeman & Step-Granddaughter E’Dena Hines To Have A Baby
Actor Morgan Freeman is reportedly considering having a baby with his much younger girlfriend, E’Dena Hines, who is the granddaughter of his first wife and therefore his step-granddaughter (photos of the happy couple here). Morgan wants to have a baby with a girl he helped raise for an important part of her life… GASP!
“E’Dena wants Morgan’s baby,” a close source told The Enquirer. “She believes that will give her a final hold on Morgan and, after his divorce with Myrna is over, she will end up marrying him.”
“Morgan has gone along with E’Dena’s wishes of having a baby,” said the close source. “he knows it would be disastrous is E’Dena blew up and went public with everything she knows.”
Morgan, who is divorcing his second wife Myrna Colley-Lee, apparently had a secret affair with E’Dena that started when she was only seventeen years old and lasted more than ten years. E’Dena and Morgan are not keeping their relationship secret anymore but Myrna is determined to not let Morgan have a baby with his step-granddaughter!

This is just sick! I myself don’t understand what would make a man do such a nasty thing? really your step granddaughter? When you have a realtionship with someone you don’t look over their family members as if it’s some sort of menu to choose from! I didn’t know until today that he has done this and now I’m definitely not a fan of his….he is right up there with Woody Allen WTF is wrong with the world today?

Pure disgusting! I mean he raised her… geez, was he checking her out then when she was ten or a toddler, gross… I agree the family isn’t a menu to choose from… gosh I don’t even look over my friends crushes and ex boyfriends, off limits. Some people truly are disgusting!!!!! This is just repulsive… he will not get any movie tickets or anything from me. I will never see his stuff again.
Not that I’m making excuses for him because I still find it sick and disturbing, but he was divorced from his first wife (her grandmother) in 1979. That’s 4 or 5 years before E’Dena was even born. She was born about the same time of his second marriage. So, to suggest he was raising her, or changing her diapers, or acting as a grandfather figure at all is extrememly presumptuous. Not that it makes it right, but we need to be careful not to act as judge and jury with half truths and drawn conclusions.
He wasn’t even married to her grandmother when she was born. He isn’t anything to her, just a man. He never was her step-grandfather, that dissolved the second he divorced his first wife in 1979, YEARS BEFORE SHE WAS BORN. What makes the writer of this article think that he kept up a relationship with a family that he was divorced from? I think that Mr. Freeman has been playing the same role in nearly everything he has made for 12 years, but I will overlook that to defend the man.
I agree with Tom and Coley7367. In no way did he have the title of step-grandfather if he was divorced from her grandmother before she was even born. People I’m surprised of how surprised I am of how people will twist up the facts just to create a scandal.

second, do you think that she was really *raised” by him when he has multiple homes and spent most of every year on movie sets? not to mention boarding schools and what not that she attended?
third, has any legitimate newspaper or magazine published this story?
if the National Enquirer has the *full story* then you can bet the *source* did it for money, without any care about truth.

He helped raise her since she was a child, his relationship prior to hooking up with her wasn’t non-existent. Abkock, you don’t know what his level of parental involvement was with her, so don’t try to make excuses for him. Even if that is the case, it still isn’t proper to dip into the family pool when looking for prospective mates, and yes, that includes people who are only related to you by marriage. But back to my point, he helped raised her like she was his own grandchild and began a romantic/sexual relationship with when she was 17. It is possible that he may have begun grooming her at a much younger age and waited until she was of legal consenting age to carry on an
affair with her. He is a sick, sick man to be doing this, and I for one am shocked at him.
Morgan Freeman USED to be one of my favorite actors. What he has done is DISGUSTING. He probably did start grooming her at an early age, the touching, a little kiss from grandpa, planting the seed in her young mind that it’s ok because grandpa loves her. He is a very sick individual and now they are planning a dinner in his honor??? OMG, what in the world is wrong with people??? This is family, step or no step, he raised this child’s mother and he helped raise his granddaughter. He gave no consideration to his wife or the family.
