Lane Kiffin Spurs Vols to Become USC Head Coach
Lane Kiffin is leaving the University of Tennessee Vols after one disappointing season to become the head coach of the USC Trojans.
Vols fans, that were laughing at Florida Gators coach Urban Meyer for his retirement and quick unretirement, were dealt the tragic dose of karma late Tuesday night.
Kiffin is reportedly taking assistant coaches Monte Kiffin (his father), Ed Orgeron, and others.
The USC job came open on Monday when heralded Trojans coach Pete Carroll accepted the head coaching job of the Seattle Seahawks. He left the Trojans with the NCAA hot on the heals of the program.
Many feel probation for the USC football team will happen sooner than later.
I am not a fan of the Vols or of the word hip word “douche,” but Lane Kiffin is a douche!
The woman above (pictured) is likely the reason for Lane’s turncoat decision to leave the Vols…his wife Layla Kiffin, a Southern California girl (more photos of Layla K).
