Veteran actor Rip Torn, a notorious drunk, was arrested Friday night after breaking into a Connecticut bank with a loaded gun.  Torn, naturally was hammered higher than Jack Nicholson in the 4th quarter of a Lakers game, when police found him at the Litchfield Bancorp building.

Authorities say Rip will be charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.

Torn, 78, is most well known for his work on 30 Rock, Men In Black, Cross Creek, Dodgeball, and The Larry Sanders Show.  He is currently married to his third wife, Amy Wright.

The above mugshot is from Torn’s 2006 drunk driving arrest in New York.  Friday’s arrest is Torn’s third recent alcohol related arrest in the past few years.
