Singer/actress Mariah Carey made a fool of herself when she went on stage to give her acceptance speech for the award of “Breakthrough Actress” for her role in the movie “Precious” at the Palm Spring International Film Festival on Tuesday (January 5). Mariah was so totally wasted… it was just too embarrassing!!

There is a hostage situation at Tila Tequila’s house! Apparently Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips went to Tila’s house to retrieve the late Casey Johnson’s dogs and other belongings but Tila has called the cops after a heated argument. Tila refuses to give the dogs up and called 911 claiming Nicky and Bijou are trying to break in.

Nicky wanted to retrieve all of Casey’s stuff for her family. The LAPD was at Tila’s house and spoke on the phone with Casey’s family in New York. The two dogs were finally handled over to Nicky and Bijou, who will take care of the poor things until they are flown to NY to be cared for by Casey’s family.

Rozlyn’s first boyfriend, Ronald Rutson Eagle Jr., told RadarOnline, “We dated for all of 7th and 8th grade. I was just a little guy and it was young love. We met her first day of school. She was new at the school and we met in the computer lab. She asked my how to turn on the computer and it was love at first sight if there is such a thing. It was my first relationship so it’s the one I will never forget.”

NBA dictator commissioner David Stern has suspended Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas indefinitely for brandishing handguns in the Wizards locker room at the Verizon Center in D.C.

Stern said the following in a statement the NBA released on Wednesday:

“Although it is clear that the actions of Mr. Arenas will ultimately result in a substantial suspension, and perhaps worse, his ongoing conduct has led me to conclude that he is not currently fit to take the court in an NBA game.”

“Accordingly, I am suspending Mr. Arenas indefinitely, without pay, effective immediately pending the completion of the investigation by the NBA.”

Fellow Smith & Wesson Wizard Javaris Crittenton was hounding Arenas over an unpaid gambling debt Arenas owed to backup center JaVale McGee.

Crittenton had covered the $60,000 debt to McGee for Arenas.  Arenas reportedly brandished three handguns which prompted Crittenton to pull out his piece as well within the locker room.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting (via Twitter) that the suspension will cost Arenas $147,000 per game.

Jake Pavelka, the new Bachelor, is one of those good guys with extreme “twisted” bad luck! One of “The Bachelor” girls got sexually involved with one of the show’s producers and it has become the biggest scandal in the long history of the dating reality show (read more details here). In an exclusive interview, host Chris Harrison revealed the scandal will be addressed in the next week’s episode. “An unfortunate decision was made by one of the girls and one of the crew members and the rest you’ll have to watch and see.” When we asked if the Bachelor was “fake,” Harrison quipped: “The only fake thing on the show is me.”

Chris added, “It was an incident that we’ve never had to deal with before. It was tough for everyone, the crew, the women and Jake. Hopefully we can quickly move past this and it won’t dominate the season. But definitely everyone will see what happens.”

The host also claims this is the most beautiful cast they ever had on the show and that finally we will see a brand new explosive side of Jake’s personality. There will also be a lot of eye candy as long as the pilot keeps his shirt off.

Mother-of-Eight Kate Gosselin, who is rumored to be getting her own dating show, debuts a brand new softer look courtesy of celeb stylist Ted Gibson on People Magazine cover.

“It’s good to have hair again,” Kate told People. “I never thought I’d have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life.” Kate wants to start brand new after finally getting a divorce from her husband Jon Gosselin. “I’ve got to get my kids back on track, my career back on track and my family back on track,” she said.

“I got phone calls from my friends congratulating me,” she told the mag. “But I felt like, ‘You’re congratulating me on a failed marriage?’ I knew what they were getting at, because I am starting over and cutting ties from something that was really dragging me down, but it was a rough day. I wasn’t prepared for the intensity of the emotion involved.”

Kate confessed now that “Jon & Kate Plus 8” is over money is an issue but she is excited to start a new year with a new self, new goals and, now, new hair. She looks great with long hair – it makes her look more mommy!!

Actor Gary Coleman, who had been giving several interviews to promote his latest movie, apparently had a seizure and was immediately rushed from Custom Hotel to a hospital in Los Angeles at 8:03 am on Wednesday (January 6).

UPDATE: Gary was sitting on the bed and had some type of seizure, a friend told TMZ. 911 was call and Gary was asked questions like “What month is it?” but he was “foggy” and didn’t know the answer.

The family of the late Johnson & Johnson heiress, Casey Johnson, has released an official statement on her tragic death, revealing a few details about funeral arrangements and asking for privacy in this time of mourning. Casey will be laid to rest in a private funeral service later this week. [Casey Johnson Autopsy Results]

A spokesman for the family said, “The Johnson family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed condolences and support during this trying time. Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.

“The family has arranged for Casey to be flown back East to her final resting place. There will be a private funeral service later this week for the immediate family. The family asks for a measure of privacy over the next several days as they mourn their loss. No other information will be released at this time.”

As for the many fans/supporters who want to contribute, the family asks for donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. The rep added, “For the many who have asked what they can do to honor Casey’s memory, we ask simply that you consider making a donation to the Casey Johnson Memorial at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. Casey struggled throughout her life fighting this disease, and she would want to see all of us continue that fight on her behalf.”~

A woman named Shellie Doreen Smith filed a lawsuit claiming her part in Michael Jackson’s estate because she says she and the late King Of Pop had a special bond. They supposedly tied the knot in a lovely ceremony that was only witnessed by employees at a hotel somewhere in New York City in the 1970’s.

For someone who was allegedly married to the one and only King Michael, Shellie doesn’t remember much about the experience like important details (dates and exact location). I wonder if she doesn’t need that type of details to actually fill the legal papers to seek the spousal support benefits.
