Bartender Stephanie Breshears, a divorced mother-of-two, reveals the former Presidential Candidate John Edwards, who was accused of cheating on his wife Elizabeth Edwards and fathering an illegitimate child with mistress Rielle Hunter, hit on her and tried to take her to a hotel “for four consecutive nights” after the scandal broke.

“I think he’s scum,” Stephanie, who works at the local Kornerstone Bistro in Wilmington, N.C., told. “He was definitely looking to pick up women when he came in here – and he wanted me to go back to his house.”

Last August, John was at his vacation home with wife Elizabeth, who is a breast cancer survivor, and their 27 year-old daughter Cate yet he still went out looking for his next victim for a wild night of sex.

“But that night was very busy, and I didn’t have a lot of time to socialize,” said the pretty bartender. “I didn’t see any of them again until John Edwards came in on Dec. 30 – the first of four consecutive nights.

“He said he’d been thinking about me since he and his wife were in last summer. He said I had run through his mind ‘time and time’ again. He said I was ‘attractive.’ He asked what I was doing after work and I told him I had plans with friends. But he told me he was staying on Figure Eight Island, and that I should join him.”

After giving Stephanie his phone number, John started openly flirting with another woman right in front of her. Stephanie claims John had told he was separated and soon to be divorced.

The truth is John and Elizabeth did separate but only after Christmas reportedly after she finally realized her marriage was a lost cause. The former senator’s loyal aide Andrew Young recently revealed he and Rielle have a very dirty and explicit sex tape (read more details here). John finally admitted the paternity of Rielle’s baby last week.

Lindsay Lohan’s troublemaker daddy Michael Lohan has been arrested again after he tried to contact/call his ex-girlfriend Erin Muller at work on January 21, which is a direct violation of a restraining order against him.

Michael was arrested, booked for criminal contempt and is due in court on February 25. The exact same thing happened in December. Erin accused Michael of being physically abusive and threatening to kill her (read nasty details here). Poor Linday!

Duggar’s little miracle baby Josie, who remains in intensive care at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. , is currently taking breast milk through a tube and weighs 2 lbs. 3 oz. The parents know it’s a difficult journey and they must be prepared for everything but they are optimistic. “Doctors tell us, ‘never trust a preemie,’ because you can’t know what is going to happen,” says Jim Bob. “It is a very day-to-day thing. It is the hardest thing we’ve ever been through.”

Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack is considering the possibility of filing a wrongful dead lawsuit against Warner Bros. because he believes they were responsible for his wife’s tragic death.

Simon claims Brittany was so devastated after losing her role in the “Happy Feat” sequel that it might have provoked a heart attack. Warner Bros. reportedly dropped Brittany after rumors that she had been fired from “The Caller” due to her allegedly erratic/diva behavior on the set.

The producers of “The Caller” told TMZ, “The decision for Brittany to leave the film was mutual and amicable, and was in fact related to a serious illness in Brittany’s family. Any rumors to the contrary are false, and in the circumstances, particularly hurtful.”

Simon said, “Warner Brothers relied on conjecture and hearsay about the Puerto Rico film for why they canceled Brittany’s role in Happy Feet.”

Even though her complicated career situation might have caused a lot of pain and stress, it won’t be easy to prove how exactly it contributed to her death. And Brittany’s official cause of death hasn’t even been released yet.

Warner Bros. defended their reputation in a statement where they clarify there wasn’t even a contract to be canceled between the 32 year-old actress and the Warner Bros. Pictures.

Warner Bros. released the following statement: “Any claim that Warner Bros. Pictures was somehow responsible for Brittany Murphy’s tragic death is demonstrably false, reprehensible, and defamatory. Despite press reports to the contrary, Warner Bros. Pictures and Ms. Murphy never entered into any deal for “Happy Feet 2,” and thus, there was not a contract to cancel.”

Brittany’s family is mourning and trying to find someone to blame for such a terrible tragedy. But it might have been the accumulation of unfortunate events that contributed to break Brittany’s spirit and make her depressed and there is really no one to blame…

Steven Jackson’s ex-girlfriend Supriya Harris, who accused him of brutally beating her while she was pregnant and threatening her (read more details), revealed the scar on her right hip as the result of being smashed into a door handle by her baby’s daddy (photos below).

The NFL star completely denied Supriya’s allegations, saying, “It’s disheartening that I have to address any alleged allegations 10 months later, but I have read the accusations made by Supriya Harris, and they are untrue. The accusations are especially hurtful because those who truly know me know that those actions would be out of character for me.”

As for the accusations that he is a deadbeat daddy, Steven said the boy is “a son that I love and that I willingly support emotionally and financially.” Steven is willing to support but did he? Well Steven concludes, “I will address this matter thoroughly through the appropriate avenues, but not through the media.”

It’s ridiculous! It was not Jay’s decision to give Conan O’Brien the Tonight Show and take it away… the truth is Jay kicked butt while he was the host. He was #1 until NBC decided they didn’t want to lose Conan so they offered him The Tonight Show. NBC created this uncomfortable situation between two of the most funny (that’s debatable of course!) guys in the business so blame NBC!

Dancing With The Stars co-host Samantha Harris is finally ready to say goodbye and leave to pursue other challenging projects. The 36 year-old takes her job as a correspondent for “The Insider” very seriously – it’s another dream come true!

“[DWTS] could not have been more of a dream job,” she said. “I loved every single second of it and I’ve made lifelong friends at the show.”

“I interned at Entertainment Tonight 15 years ago, the summer after my sophomore year at Northwestern and I dreamed of working in the same space as hosts Mary Hart and Mark Steines and now I’m living that dream,” says Harris.

“The Bachelor” Matt Grant, who is currently working on his own original reality show “Pimp My Bride”, confessed he also started falling for an unidentified female producer of the show in a situation similar to “The Bachelor: On The Wings of Love” recent scandal involving Rozlyn Papa and producer Ryan Callahan.

“There was one person on the show I really fancied, and she was a producer, who was absolutely awesome, but wasn’t, unfortunately, a participant on the show,” Matt revealed. “I really liked the producer, she’s amazingly, but now she’s really happy with someone else, unfortunately. It sucks”

The situation was quickly solved when producers of the show “saw the chemistry between this person and myself and kept us apart.” So why didn’t they do the same with Rozlyn? Matt had the lead role on the 12th season, “The Bachelor: London Calling”, while Rozlyn was simply one of 25 girls to fight for Jake’s heart.

Matt complains, “Obviously on the current Bachelor there’s lots of controversy. They need the controversy. (…) It’s a good story to sell the bachelor franchise.” But he had some great ideas to share for a new format of the ABC hit reality series: “You can take any member of the cast or crew and swap them! If you fancy one of the crew members you can swap them out with a cast member.”

When asked about the new Bachelor Jake Pavelka, Matt was not sure if Jake was sincere or just acted shocked when he was told about Rozlyn’s “affair”, saying, “You can’t get it right all of the time when you’re filming 24/7. You don’t know if he was produced to act shocked.”

Matt admits that “It’s possible if you got carried away with it – with being The Bachelor – you could get offended that one woman had gone off with a guy” but “I personally would of been relieved. I would think it’s great. It saves me having to kick someone off the show.”

Iconic author J.D. Salinger, who is best known for his novel “Catcher In The Rye” and for living in complete isolation for decades, has passed away of natural causes at the age of 91 at his home in Cornish, New Hampshire, on Wednesday (January 27).

Salinger’s family released the following statement, “Despite having broken his hip in May, his health had been excellent until a rather sudden decline after the new year. He was not in any pain before or at the time of his death. The family asks that people’s respect for him, his work, and his privacy be extended to them, individually and collectively, during this time. (…) He will be missed by the few he was close to every bit as much as by the readers who loved reading him.”

UPDATE: Supriya Harris Shows Wounds (PHOTOS), Steven Jackson Denies Accusations

St. Louis Rams star Steven Jackson has been accused of brutally beating his girlfriend Supriya Harris, while she was 9-months pregnant with his child, according to a file complaint filed with the Las Vegas Police Department.

Supriya claims they had a heated argument that got physical in March 2009, saying, “Steven became enraged and pushed me to the ground, repeatedly. (…) [Steven] forcibly grabbed my arm and flung me against the door. I was crying and trying to protect my stomach from the blows, as I was 9 mos pregnant.”

Supriya added, “[he] continued to shove me against the door until his nephew … interceded and yelled, ‘uncle, she has a baby, stop.’” The pregnant woman was severely injured and “bleeding heavily” but was told to lie and say she fell in the shower when she was taken to the hospital by her boyfriend.

Ten days later, Supriya gave birth to a baby boy. Steven, who is now refusing to pay child support, and his baby momma remained together for another four months before he threatened to beat her up again at a music festival in New Orleans. What type of monster can do this to the mother of his child or any other woman for that matter? Bastard! Lock him up!!

Perez Hilton is reporting that Lady GaGa will be opening the 52nd Grammys on Sunday, January 31, 2010.

We can all expect something over the top, wacky, and entertaining from music’s mythical showgirl.  She is nominated for several awards.

The Grammys will air at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.

Controversial MSNBC host Chris Matthews set the internet a buzzing last night when he commented on President Barack Obama that he – “forgot he was black” – while commentating on Obama’s State of the Union address.

After setting off the controversy, which would have likely got a Republican or Southerner canned, he returned 90 minutes later to clarify – “I went in the room tonight, you could feel it wasn’t there tonight and that takes leadership on his part, to get us beyond those divisions.”

Nice cover Chris!  The only thing more amazing than Matthews’ comments is the fact that he still has a cable news show.  His ratings are consistently the lowest among cable news programming, and Matthews has even become quite stale to most liberals and Democrats.

I have to apologize. I had forgotten how big of an idiot Matthews was until he opened his mouth last night.
