Marie Osmond’s son Michael Blosil committed suicide by jumping from his downtown Los Angeles apartment building at about 9 pm on Friday (February 26). Michael reportedly left a suicide note to explain he wanted to end his life-long battle with depression. Michael was in rehab for depression back in 2007 when he was only 16.

“My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time,” Marie, who helped her son fight depression throughout his life, tells ET.

Michael is one of Marie and Brian Blosil’s eight children, five of whom were adopted including Michael. An autopsy and toxicology tests will be performed. Marie’s and her brother Donny Osmond’s show in Las Vegas was canceled. Donny released a short statement that says, “Please pray for my sister and her family.”

These sex tape rumors only come to denigrate her image even more. If these tapes do not exist, I suggest Rozlyn to start suing everybody quickly!

Former American Idol season 7 contestant Chikezie Eze was arrested and charged for felony identity theft when he tried to pay two bottles of cologne with a stolen credit card at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills on Thursday (February 25).

Chikezie told TMZ that he had never used that card before and that it had been flagged for probably having something “untrue” on the application. Chikezie said, “They said they were waiting for someone to use the card and when they did they would pull them down. I haven’t done anything wrong myself and I’m pretty confident nothing is going to happen.”

Well it seems like the card wasn’t his after all. Chikezie was recognized by the sales person and detained by Neiman’s security until the cops arrived. Chikezie was arrested but is currently out on a $50,000 bail and scheduled to appear in court on March 1.

Chuck and hot poker player girlfriend Heidi, who previously dated Jose Canseco (photos here), were reportedly shooting a viral commercial for Reebok. It looks kind of awkward besides who would ever want to see Chuck naked? Yep, that’s why Heidi was invited to the party too!

“Growing Pains” star Andrew Koenig was found dead at Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada. The actor’s dad Walter Koenig, who starred in “Star Trek”, confirmed that his son took his own life and sent a message to anyone who might suffering from depression and feels suicidal that there is always another way. There is always someone that cares (watch video below).

“My son took his own life,” Walter said while choking back tears. “He was obviously in a lot of pain.”

“The only other thing I want to say is, we’ve already said what a great guy he was, what a great human being. He was obviously in a lot of pain. I received an awful lot of emails, hundreds of emails from people who said he was depressed…families who said they had someone in their family who showed signs of this kind of behavior or who had in fact lost members of their family…

“If you’re one of these people who feel like you can’t handle it anymore, there are people out there who really care. You might not think so and ultimately it might not be enough, but there are people out there who really really care. So before you make a final decision check it out again and talk to someone.”

There can’t be a bigger pain than what Andrew’s parent, Judy and Walter, must be going through. Andrew had reportedly stopped taking his anti-depressants nearly a year ago. Before Andrew went to Canada to visit friends, he gave a thirty day notice on his apartment in Venice, CA, and moved out, started selling all his belongings and returning borrowed items.

American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen recently travelled to Haiti to help with relief effort as part of the “Idol Gives Back” campaign and brought some experiences and images to share during the American Idol results show on Thursday (February 25).

On Thursday (February 25), the first four American Idol wannabes were voted off the competition. Idol’s Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta were the special musical guest of the first results show of season 9. Kris performed “Let It Be” (watch video here) and Allison sang her ballad “Scars” (watch video here).

Janell Wheeler and Katie Stevens were put face to face in the first elimination round. Janell, who is rumored to be Tim Tebow’s girlfriend (photos), was shockingly eliminated. In the second round, Ashley Rodriguez and Didi Benami were in the bottom two but it was Ashley who was forced to leave.

These girls didn’t deliver stunning performances on the live show on Tuesday (February 23) but we thought they had done well enough to survive another round. Haeley Vaughn and Lacey Brown’s performances were absolutely painful yet they were saved by the public at home. We thought this was a singing contest not a popularity battle.

It’s time for the boys to learn their destiny. First Tim Urban and Joe Munoz are in the bottom of the first group – Joe was unfairly sent home. Tyler Grady and Alex Lambert go face to face on the fourth and final round of elimination and the Jim Morrison impersonator gets the boot.

We were a bit shocked to see Tyler go since he was one of the cougar baits of the show but the truth is his performance was painfully awful on the live show Wednesday (February 24). Joe should still be in the competition. Tim Urban does not deserve to be on the top 24 but the top 20!?! Please no!

Actor Andrew Koenig was found dead at the Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada on Thursday (February 25) – read more details and photos. According to CNN, Canadian police did not confirm it was the “Growing Pains” star’s body right away because of the “sensitivity of the matter”. Andrew was 41 years old.
