Michael Lynche aka Big Mike, who is a personal trainer with an incredible physique, had just found out that his wife was expecting a baby girl when he surprised the judges with a fantastic rendition of The Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody” at the American Idol Season 9 “the best and the worst of auditions” finale (watch video below).
American Idol Season 9 Top 24 Leaked (SPOILERS!)
The 26 year-old definitely can sing and he puts his soul into it. Kara DioGuardi absolutely adored him, saying, “You’re kind of like a singing teddy bear!” Aww! Big Mike made it to Hollywood but his Idol journey might have been cut short. Apparently Big Mike was disqualified after his father told a local newspaper he was in the Top 24 (read more details).
