Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan opened up about her personal demons to Niecy Nash in an exclusive interview for The Insider on Thursday (February 4). The 23 year-old is a secret hoarder and may be using it as a way to cope with the estranged complicated relationship between her and her father, Michael Lohan.

“I just need to get rid of … stuff,” Lindsay says. “That’s personal stuff that I have to work on.” Lindsay’s life is a complete mess! She needs help to get rid of all of that stuff, daddy included!

“There [are] a lot of people that are there for the wrong reasons,” she tells The Insider. “I started to realize a lot more was being taken from me than was given. It became more draining than anything else. In this industry people build you up to knock you down.”

What could have been a dream for most women – hundreds of pairs of shoes, designer clothes and thousands of bags – is a complete nightmare for Lindsay. It’s all cluttered all over her new home! “This is my home,” the 23 year-old actress said. “I just want to be much more serene in here and clear.”

Mother Dina Lohan claims her daughter needs help cleaning up and organizing her things so she can finally get some peace. “My father used to say a disheveled room leads to a disheveled mind,” Dina says, “We’re donating a lot of it to charity. Some of it will go on our Web site lohanhouse.com.”

Lindsay has been apparently too busy, working too hard, that she hadn’t had the time to go through all her stuff. Dina also defends her daughter, saying, “A lot if it is gifted so it’s not necessarily stuff she buys. Like, a company will send five pairs of jeans. So we’re going to donate items like that.”

The actress understands that cleaning her house will help her emotionally too. Lindsay said, “When everything is in its place then I will be able to breathe.” Hey Lindsay! I can do some cleaning for you! Call me!!
