Carrie Underwood’s National Anthem Super Bowl Sound Check [Video]
“American Idol” Carrie Underwood will have the honor to kick off the SuperBowl XLIV (New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts) with a rendition of the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”, on Sunday (February 7). Carrie already did the sound check and she was amazing (watch video below).
Carrie, who is engaged to Mike Fisher, confessed to be completely nervous and actually fears forgetting the lyrics. “I am going to be extremely nervous,” Carrie said. “If I look like I am about to get sick on the field, I may at any moment during that song.” Good luck, Carrie!

Carrie sounded much better during rehearsal singing the national anthem!!! She really screwed up at the Super Bowl. I have never really liked Carrie’s voice she always sounds like she is straining her voice.
Taylor Swift is young but that little lady plays and writes most of her own songs, Very admirable.
