Why Did Ali Leave The Bachelor? Jake Pavelka finally met his last four girls’ families in the hometown date but when it was time to make a decision and offer his three roses a new scandal broke. It wasn’t exactly a scandal and it wasn’t as horrible as Jake had described it but Ali Fedotowsky was forced to leave to keep her job.

The 25-year-old advertising account manager from Williamstown, MA, believed she and Jake had something special, a deeper connection, and went to him for advice on what to do – should she choose her career or love? She would have to leave immediately if she wanted to keep her job. Ali cried her heart out and told him the big three words, “I love you,” in an attempt to test Jake’s real feelings for her. He did not return it.

Jake told her he would be absolutely devastated if she had to leave, but he couldn’t make a decision for her, much less promise her the final rose. During the rose ceremony, Ali reveals it’s her time to go home, get her job back and focus on her career.

Jake accompanies Ali to the car. The goodbyes are always difficult. Jake is heartbroken. He cries. “It hurts like crazy that Ali is gone. I didn’t expect to come all this way to get my heart broken again,” he said. Jake quickly recovers and gets back to his three girls, Vienna, Tenley and Gia, saying, “I realize that I have three amazing women, and I’m really excited to continue this journey with them”. Well, Jake wasn’t so devastated after all.
