The American Idol hopeful Danelle Hayes, who worked as a karaoke host, got a golden ticket after impressing the judges with her audition in Denver (watch video here) but she didn’t quite make it to Hollywood due to her extensive criminal record.

The 24 year-old has an impressive rap sheet which includes a DUI, driving on suspended license, possession of marijuana, domestic violence, threatening to kill her own mother, vandalizing her parents’ home and stealing money and eight checks from her mom’s checkbook.

Danelle has a serious problem with alcohol and a seven year deferred prosecution for drunk driving that would require a clearance from her probation officer every time she had to leave the state. If she cleans up her act, Danelle might get another chance to pursue her dreams and audition again.
