Shelby Dressel, a very insecure 18 year-old girl who cannot move the right side of her face, impressed the judges with a rendition of Norah Jones’ “Turn Me On” at the American Idol auditions in Orlando (watch video below). Shelby is an inspiration! Go girl!

American Idol Season 9 Top 24 Leaked (SPOILERS!)

Shelby made it to the Hollywood week and survived two very tough rounds. Unfortunately, she did not make the Top 24 but Simon Cowell was clearly upset and expressed his disagreement, saying “it’s the wrong decision” (watch video below). Randy Jackson urged Shelby to keep dreaming and come back next year.
