The American Idol Season 9 fantastic Top 24 will take the stage for the first time to perform live this week. The twelve girls will be the first to debut on Idol on Tuesday (February 23) and the boys will take over on Wednesday (February 24). The results will be announced in the special results show on Thursday (February 25).

AARON KELLY, 16, of Sonestown, PA

The 16 year-old from Sonestown, PA, came, saw and conquered with his refreshing attitude and youthful spirit. Aaron impressed the judges with his rendition of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” (watch video here) at his first audition.

Answer:When I was 9.

ALEX LAMBERT, 19, of North Richland Hills, TX

The 19 year-old from Richland Hills, TX, who is not related to American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, has a nice voice, talent but we are expecting him to finally show what he is capable of on the live shows. Alex finally wowed the judges when he sang “I’m Yours” (watch video here) during the Hollywood week.

Answer:No

Question:When did you first start to sing?
Answer:When I was about nine.

Answer:Every man dies, but not every man truly lives.

ANDREW GARCIA, 24, of Moreno Valley, CA

The 24 year-old from Moreno Valley, CA, had a gangsta lifestyle past but he wants to get out of that world to become a better parent and give his son a peaceful childhood and brighter future. Andrew is original, unique and he can make any song his own. He sang “Sunday Morning” (watch video here) at his first audition in Los Angeles, teamed up with Katie Stevens for “No One” (watch video here) and finally wowed with a fantastic rendition of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” (watch video here) during the Hollywood week.

CASEY JAMES, 27, of Fort Worth, TX

The 27 year-old from Fort Worth, TX, didn’t hesitate to take off his shirt to prove he deserved a golden ticket to Hollywood (watch video here), then enchanted with “I Don’t Need No Doctor” (watch video below), teamed up with Janell Wheeler for “Closer” (watch video here) and, finally, braved to perform “Bubly” (watch video here) during the Hollywood week. Casey is more than just a pretty face! He is talented and one of our favorites!

Answer:1 or 2 years old. Before I talked.

JERMAINE SELLERS, 27, of Joliet, IL

The 27 year-old from Joliet, IL, proved to have an extraordinaire potential and also fantastic voice, rhythm and style. Jermaine owned “What If God Was One Of Us” (watch video here), at his first audition in Atlanta but the Hollywood week didn’t go as well as predicted and he showed a bit of a diva attitude during his last performance of “Man In The Mirror” (watch video here).

Answer:At 7 years old.

JOE MUNOZ, 20, of Huntington Park, CA

The 20 year-old from Huntington Park, CA, is a mystery to us since we didn’t really had the chance to follow his “road” to the Idol Top 24 (watch video here). Joe will have the chance to finally conquer some fan on the live show tonight.

Answer:No

Question:When did you first start to sing?
Answer:I started singing at the age of 12 in middle school in Guaymas, Mexico. My music teacher made me sing.

JOHN PARK, 21, of Northbrook, IL

The 21 year-old from Northbrook, IL, has a powerful and very beautiful voice accompanied by a super cool style and a small portion of shyness. John surprised with a performance of “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know” (watch video here) at his first audition in Chicago.

Answer:I took voice lessons for 1 year before college.

Answer:7th grade choir.

LEE DEWYZE, 23, of Mount Prospect, IL

The 23 year-old from Mount Prospect, IL, has an amazing voice and pleasant stage presence but he also plays guitar. Lee is considered to be this season’s dark horse (watch video here) and he needs to finally believe in his potential.

MICHAEL LYNCHE aka BIG MIKE, 26, of St. Petersburg, FL

The 26 year-old from St. Petersburg, FL, became a father for the first time during the Hollywood week but his own father almost killed the dream when he told the press his son was on Idol’s Top 24. Michael aka Idol’s teddy bear sang “Unchained Melody” (watch video here) at his first audition and continued to enchant us with “Waiting On The World To Change” (watch video here) during the Hollywood week.

Answer:I trained classically in high school. I went to a Performing Arts High School.

Answer:As a kid singing back-up for my older brother.

TIM URBAN, 19, of Dunanville, TX

The 19 year-old from Dunanville, TX, earned his spot on the Top 24 after “Orphan” Chris Golightly was disqualified because he was linked to a freshly signed contract with a recording company. Tim is a good singer as he proved with a rendition of “Come Back To Me” (watch video here) during the Hollywood week.

Answer:Three months at a local studio.

Answer:When I was 13 and started playing guitar.

TODRICK HALL, 24, of Arlington, TX

The 24 year-old from Arlington, TX, had a brief experience on Broadway with Idol Fantasia in “The Color Purple” and he also has a bit of a diva attitude. Todrick sang his own “cutesy” original song (watch video here) at his first audition in Dallas and wowed with an over-the-top performance of “Bad Romance” (watch video here) during the Hollywood week.

Answer:No voice lessons ever, but we’re gonna change that…fast.

Question:When did you first start to sing?
Answer:At church when I was 10 or 11 but officially at age 16 as a singer at Six Flags over Texas.

Answer:Don’t make someone your priority when to them you are only an option.

TYLER GRADY, 20, of Nazareth, PA

The 20 year-old from Nazareth, PA, has an irresistible Jim Morrison style and is already a fan favorite. Tyler delighted the judges when he started singing “Let’s Get It On” (watch video here) at his first audition in Boston.

Answer:Lessons off and on for the past few years.
