The American Idol Top 10 girls battled it off for the second time on the Idol stage for your vote on Wednesday (March 3). Katie Stevens performed Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Put Your Records On” but still wasn’t fresh and young enough (watch video below). Ellen DeGeneres doesn’t want to hear something she would hear in her dentist’s office (ouch!), while Kara DioGuardi told that she has to tackle bigger songs and that some songs are just good on the radio. Simon Cowell was frustrated because Katie is so much better than that and it just wasn’t a winning performance.
