Ali Fedotowsky, who was forced to leave Jake Pavelka to keep her job on the last season of The Bachelor, was offered the chance to find her one true love on a show of her own. The new Bachelorette will be filming at least part of the show in New York. Bachelorette will premiere on May 24, 2010.

“I’m so excited. I’m so thrilled and honored and grateful. I just can’t believe it,” Ali told show host, Chris Harrison. “I’m not gonna let my fear dictate my life anymore. And I just need to go for it and I want to find someone.

“I want to be in love,” she continued. “I want to get married and have kids and all of that and this is my chance, so I’m not gonna make the same mistake I made last time, I’m going for it.”

Until then Jake still has time to dump Vienna and go try to win Ali back. Just wishful thinking! So who is Ali? Ali is 25 years old “fun-loving girl next door” with a psychology degree who is waiting to be swept off her feet by prince charming. Ali was a cute brunette when she graduated from Mount Grey Lock High School back in 2002 (photos below).
