Tom Bergeron announced on Good Morning America this morning that the beautiful Brooke Burke, who won the 7th season of the reality TV dancing contest Dancing With the Stars, would be his co-host for this season on the

Burke and her professional dance partner Derek Hough won the 7th season over NFL player Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska.

Burke replaces Samantha Harris who co-hosted DWTS with Bergeron from 2006-2009.  Bergeron’s co-host in the very first season was Lisa Canning.

Burke has previous hosting experience from her days of hosting the flavorful E! show Wild On! and Rock Star.
