The American Idol Season 9 Top 8 Girls competed on stage for a spot in the final 12 on Tuesday (March 9). Didi Benami played the guitar and sang Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon” (watch video below). It sounded exactly like all the previous performances she has ever done.

Didi is adorable. We love her! But to win American Idol you need a powerful and strong voice because the lullaby voice is great but not for a competition like this. Didi sounds just like Norah Jones or Katie Melua. Not original at all. The judges loved it and Simon Cowell even said it was a wow performance.
