Aaron Kelly Top 8 Guys American Idol PHOTOS

The American Idol Season 9 Top 8 Guys battled on stage for a spot in the final 12 on Wednesday (March 10). Aaron Kelly sang Westlife’s “I’m Already There” but he sounded too old for his age (watch video below). Aaron’s voice is fantastic but this performance wasn’t really that good. I just didn’t get it.

Kara DioGuardi said Aaron lacked an emotional connection to that song because he is so young. Simon Cowell told Kara to stop talking rubbish and that it was just a nice song and there’s no need to confuse the kid. Excuse me, Mr. Cowell but isn’t that what you’ve been doing to our girl, Katie Stevens!?!
