Andrew Garcia “Genie In A Bottle” Top 8 American Idol (VIDEO)
The American Idol Season 9 Top 8 Guys battled on stage for a spot in the final 12 on Wednesday (March 10). Andrew Garcia performed an acoustic version of Christina Aguilera’s hit “Genie In A Bottle” (watch video below) that was still not enough to suppress his fantastic Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” performance (watch video here).
Andrew continues to deliver some fantastic performances that are totally overshadowed by comparisons to that Paula Abdul song. Damn it! But this time Andrew only really got into the song at the very end. Simon Cowell thought his song choice was a bit desperate.
