Cops Posed for Pics with Roethlisberger Before Alleged Rape
The Pittsburg Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger and the patrol officer who initially investigated the sexual assault accusations against him, identified as Sergeant Jerry Blash, posed for a couple of pictures together merely an hour before the incident. Ben also took pictures with the victim before the incident (photo here).
“The photographs did not and have not affected the investigation at all,” Police Chief Woodrow Blue said. Blue guaranteed this will not affect the ongoing investigation since Sgt. Blash was only approached by the victim and wrote the initial incident report.
The question is did Sgt. Blash go through all the details of the incident or wrote a sparse report instead!? The initial report of the incident could be vital to determinate if charges should or should not be filed against Ben in this case.
