The American Idol Top 12 finalists took over the big stage to perform some of the Rolling Stones’ biggest hits for the first time on Tuesday (March 16). Lee Dewyze performed “Beast Of Burden” (watch video below) and got mixed reactions from the judges.

Randy Jackson thought it was dope but to Ellen DeGeneres Lee was only “almost there” like a “hospital gown”. Kara DioGuardi says he has been evolving more than anyone else on the show. Simon Cowell believes Lee has an incredible voice but he needs to have more confidence and own the stage.
