The American Idol Season 9 Top 11 contestants were mentored by teen sensation Miley Cyrus this week and took the stage to perform Billboard #1 Hits on Tuesday night (March 23). Andrew Garcia dropped his guitar to deliver his own rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” (watch video below). Andrew, what happened to you?

We miss the old Andrew and no we are not referring to his fantastic performance of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” (watch video here) during Hollywood week. LOL! The judges were very harsh on Andrew calling it a karaoke-type of performance, saying he was totally lost and Simon Cowell claimed he “sucked the soul out of the song”. Oh, Andrew! It really wasn’t good!
