2010 Celebrity Apprentice Recap (March 28): Darryl Strawberry Quits!
In the last episode of Celebrity Apprentice (Sunday, March 28), Tenacity (women) and Rock Solid (men) were asked to make an advertorial for two computer security teams (Norton and Life Lock) that were launching brand new online identity theft prevention software.

Summer Sands and Michael Johnson were chosen as the project managers for each team and their spokespersons were Sharon Osbourne and Curtis Stone, respectively. There is always drama when there are women working together but, once again, they managed to put up a united front and won the challenge.
So another man would have to be fired! Well, unless someone quits first. Darryl Strawberry clearly can’t handle the pressure of actually having to work for an objective during a strict work schedule. When asked who should be fired on Rock Solid’s team, Darryl stepped forward and basically nominated himself to get the boot. Donald labeled Darryl a “quitter” and he left. Bye, Darryl!

Good thing Darryl left. Who would ever suggest themselves to be booted off if they truly wanted to be there.
Darryl liked his old job where he only worked 7 months out of the year, and every 4-5 days for a couple of hours.
He did the old ‘fall on his sword’ deal to spare Michael Johnson. Darryl ordered every pizza they asked him to order but you could see that it was mercy casting from the beginning. He clearly wasn’t into it.
I think a lot of people forget Darryl is a cancer survivor, he did seem to be tired several times… he is probably taking a daily amount of meds for his condition.
In my opinion Darryl is not one to make excuses or bring pity on himself he just quietly left … I think he doesn’t deserve the scorn that is heaped upon him. He is a class act and has many times proven himself as a champion.
Godspeed Darryl, you are not a quitter !
