The American Idol Top 10 finalists, who were mentored by Usher, had to tackle some classic and iconic R&B and Soul songs during the live show on Tuesday (March 30). Didi Benami sang from the heart and failed to impress with Jimmy Ruffin’s “What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted” (watch video below).

Didi’s golden glamorous gown was used as a distraction because her performance was really not good – it was sleepy, boring and very monotonous! Kara DioGuardi claims Didi lost her way. Simon Cowell said “it was like swimming in jelly”, old-fashioned and over the top. The mean judge compared her performance to one of terrible singers murdering songs in “those” dancing shows. OUCH!
