The American Idol Top 10 finalists, who were mentored by Usher, had to tackle some classic and iconic R&B and Soul songs during the live show on Tuesday (March 30). Siobhan Magnus kicked off the show with a rendition of Chaka Kahn’s “Through The Fire” and this time not even the high notes were enough to save a mediocre performance (watch video below).

Siobhan seemed to be extra nervous last night. There were some terrible moments and it was by far her weakest performance. Again the screaming at the end is getting old and boring – we hope that’s not all Siobhan has to show us. She is talented but she should dare herself to show us she can be a good performer without the screaming. Simon Cowell didn’t say she killed the song, but called it manslaughter. OUCH!
