We miss the old Andrew and no we are not referring to his fantastic performance of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” (watch video here) during Hollywood week. LOL! The judges were very harsh on Andrew calling it a karaoke-type of performance, saying he was totally lost and Simon Cowell claimed he “sucked the soul out of the song”. Oh, Andrew! It really wasn’t good!

Michael Lynche aka Big Mike sang Michael Bolton’s “When a Man Loves a Woman” and made Miley completely fall in love with him (watch video below).

I love Mike but I seriously think he is pushing the “corny” limits. After a couple of weeks of emotional intensity, we wanted something less serious and more fun from Mike. Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell had to agree Mike’s performance was too self-indulgent.

Aaron Kelly, who was happy to finally meet one of his Idols and actually confessed to have a crush on Miley, sang Aerosmith’s power ballad “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing” (watch video below).

Aaron had been struggling with tonsillitis and laryngitis all week. It was not his best performance but it was still better than average last night. Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell agreed it was one of the best song choices of the night without a doubt. And Simon added Aaron’s performance was solid enough to keep him on Idol for another week. Go Aaron!! We love it!

The American Idol Season 9 Top 11 contestants were mentored by teen sensation Miley Cyrus this week and took the stage to perform Billboard #1 Hits on Tuesday night (March 23). Tim Urban tackled Queen’s classic “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” (watch video below) and failed to deliver a solid performance again.

Tim may not be the best singer but he sure knows how to work up the crowd. He had a lot of fun sliding around on stage but as Ellen DeGeneres said, it was “too corny” and looked more like a “High School Musical” audition. Kara DioGuardi did not like his interaction with the audition because he is “not at that place yet” and he is “not established yet”. To Simon Cowell it was complete rubbish – two “silly” performances in two weeks.

Randy Jackson went straight to the point – it was honestly terribly horrible! Ellen DeGeneres finally decided to comment how beautiful Paige was and leave the music critic to the experts. Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell totally agreed it was possibly the worst vocals on Idol this season. Paige stopped competing and believing in herself after being in the bottom three last week.

To Ellen DeGeneres her favorite pen is back and Lee’s performance was absolutely fantastic. Kara DioGuardi loved it too. However Simon Cowell decided to disagree with everyone and say it was “quite corny” and not a recording performance. We loved it! Was Lee’s performance memorable? Not really!

Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was recently accused of developing a sexual relationship with his late wife’s mother, Sharon Murphy, whom he has been sharing the house since the actress’ passed away in December 2009.

Seriously!?! This story could have only been created by some horrible British tabloid. Simon and Sharon are both grieving. They are helping each other. It is not impossible for them to develop a more intimate relationship but not so soon after Brittany’s tragic death.

Sandra Bullock’s IMDb profile page has been changed, more specifically her marital status without the actress’ knowledge or permission. Jesse James is listed as her spouse from July 16, 2010 to the present but the status of their relationship is described as “separated”.

According to TMZ, IMDb’s profile changes have to be internally approved. There is no info about who made the request and why the change was accepted. Sandra has not publicly announced the separation from her husband, who had a torrid affair with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee (photos here). Reality star Kim Kardashian and her NFL boyfriend Reggie Bush have reportedly broken up again.
