Alex Herrmann, a 17-year old autistic boy from Chicago, has done something nearly 5 million sports fans on ESPN failed to do.  Herrmann has a perfect NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket after the first two rounds.

Alex has nailed everything perfectly so far, included North Iowa’s upset win over #1 seed Kansas.  99.1% of the 5 million on ESPN predicted Kansas would win.  He has Purdue winning it all which seems like a long shot.

Alex’s 24-year old brother, Andrew Herrmann, helped Alex entering his picks onto CBSSports.com’s free bracket challenge, in a contest with no monetary prize.  Alex would be ineligible at ESPN and other contests with prize money since he is under 18.

Vice President Joe ‘Gaffe’ Biden didn’t hold back in expressing to President Barack Obama just how big a deal the new healthcare passage was, after introducing Obama at the signing of the Health Care signing. Actress Sandra Bullock canceled two premieres of her movie “The Blind Side” in Europe after Michelle “Bombshell” McGee revealed her longtime affair with her husband, Jesse James. Sandra made her very first public statement via Facebook by changing relationship status to single.

Sandra also posted a couple of messages for her fans. On March 18, Sandra said, “I do not want to see ANY messages with the words Jesse James in them. Period! I am moving on. His loss, not mine!”

And a couple days later on March 20, she wrote, “A very special and heartfelt thanks to all of you lovely people that I call my friends! Your kind words over the last few days have been greatly appreciated. I consider myself a very lucky girl!”

We did not want to believe Sandra would update her Facebook after all that has been said and written about Jesse James’ Nazi affair scandal, but this account is labeled as an official verified Facebook page.

Eleven celebrities/pseudo-celebrities took over the dance floor for the first time on the premiere of the tenth season of Dancing With The Stars on Monday (March 22). Kate Gosselin and her partner Tony Dovolani danced the classic Viennese Waltz to the sound of “She’s Always a Woman to Me” (watch video below).

The mother-of-eight was clearly extremely nervous and she needs a LOT more practice, but it wasn’t exactly as disastrous as I thought it would be. Judge Bruno was a bit too harsh on Kate when he said she needs to develop a human character and not look like a shopping cart being pushed around. Boo ya! Kate got a 16 (6+5+5) score.

Pamela Anderson and her partner Damian Whitewood danced the Cha Cha Cha to the sound of “Give Me All Your Lovin’” (watch video below).

Pamela showed she knows how to move, which doesn’t mean it was technically perfect… not even close! But it was a very entertaining mess! A HOT mess!! Former Baywatch babe delivered what was probably the most exciting performance of the night (not the best!). Pam scored 21 (7+6+8) out of 30.

Shannen was really nervous and she did one very tough, difficult routine. The choreography was way too complicated for the beginning of the show, which shows Shannen is in it to win. She scored a 18 (6+6+6) for her efforts.
