Former American Idol contestant Janell Wheeler, who was Bumpshack’s favorite on the show this season, opened up her own YouTube account to share her amazing talent with her numerous fans. Janell’s first video is an acoustic cover of Estelle’s hit “American Boy” (watch video below).

Janell sang this song during the Hollywood Week American Idol season 9 auditions (watch video here). It was Janell’s best/most memorable performance on the show. Unfortunately, Janell did not have the opportunity to show us more since she was voted off the top 24 on the first round of eliminations (read more details here). In my opinion, Janell deserved to be in the top 12!

“Wonder Years” star Danica McKellar announced that she is pregnant with her first child, according to KnockedUpCelebs. Danica is married to Mike Verta for a little over a year and the couple couldn’t be happier with the news.

“I’m nearing the end of my first trimester and I’m so excited – I’ve been bursting to tell people. When you do take the home pregnancy test, it doesn’t quite seem real,” says the mom-to-be. “But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it’s so incredible. Me and Mike looked at each other and we could not stop the tears. We are so happy.”

The 35 year-old mathematician and New York Times bestselling author has just finished her third book titled “Hot X: Algebra Exposed”, which will be released in August. Congrats to Danica and Mike!!

Memphis music legend Alex Chilton, who rose to fame with both the Box Tops and Big Star, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday in New Orleans.  Chilton was 59-years old.

The Memphis-born Chilton rose to prominence at age 16 when his gruff vocals powered the massive Box Tops hit “The Letter,” as well as “Cry Like a Baby” and “Neon Rainbow.”

After the Box Tops broke up in 1970, Chilton had a brief solo run in New York before returning to Memphis. He soon joined forces with a group of Anglo-pop-obsessed musicians — fellow songwriter/guitarist Chris Bell, bassist Andy Hummel and drummer Jody Stephens — to form Big Star.

Chilton is survived by his wife Laura and son Timothy.

“Buffy, The Vampire Slayer” star, Nicholas Brendon, got drunk and started acting disorderly before the police showed up to arrest him in Venice, California on Wednesday (March 17).

Nicholas first resisted. He allegedly tried to punch an officer and flee the scene. The police were forced to shot the 38 year-old actor with a Taser gun twice to subdue him. Nicholas was arrested on felony vandalism charges for damaging property during the bizarre incident.

Actor Corey Feldman decided to pay a heartfelt tribute to his late best friend, actor Corey Haim, who died of an apparent accidental prescription drug overdose last week (March 10). Feldman did not attend Haim’s funeral in respect to his mom’s wishes but inked the moment.

Corey got the number “222”, a number that had a special meaning to Haim, and hot air balloon being lifted into the clouds with the name of his son Zen at the T Man Tattoo in Studio City, California. Feldman explained Haim also had “222” tattooed on his body. “On the day of his funeral I felt like I should mark hm on my body forever,” he said. “Now we’re matching.”

Feldman said, “[I've] attached some strings to it,” he said. “The basket’s got my son’s name in it. And then I’m putting his eyes underneath it, so it’s kind of like his eyes are lifting up the basket which is going into the clouds.”

The American Idol Season 9 Top 12 finalists tackled songs by The Rolling Stones during the first live show on Idol’s BIG stage on Tuesday (March 16) – watch all the performances below. The night should have been unforgettable with energetic, fierce performances but it was a YAWN-fest instead.

Thanks Siobhan Magnus! She dared to scream her lungs out and kill the boredom that had been set with performances that weren’t horrible but weren’t memorable either. There were some above average performances – Michael Lynche, Didi Benami, Casey James and Crystal Bowersox.

The special musical guests are American Idol season 7 winner, David Cook, new pop star, Ke$ha, who will perform her new single “Blah Blah Blah” (perfect example of fast-food artist!), and singer-guitarist Orianthi, who is set to perform “According To You”.

So who is going to be sent packing tonight? From now on there will be only one elimination each week. If we solely take in consideration the contestants’ performances last night, Lacey Brown, Tim Urban and Katie Stevens will be at the bottom three. And Tim finally gets the boot!

However, Idol has been more of a popularity contest so we believe both Lacey and Tim will be safe. At the bottom three we will have Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens and Paige Miles. Why Katie and Andrew? They were big fans’ favorites at the beginning but they have been target of harsh criticism by the judges because they set the standards way too high for these contestants.

Michelle “Bombshell” McGee Releases Jesse James’ Text Messages

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James reportedly maintained an 11 month steamy, torrid affair with a tattoo model named Michelle “Bombsheel” McGee (NSFW pictures below). In an exclusive interview for InTouch, Michelle revealed they has five wild weeks of raw sex and that she though he and Sandra were no longer together.

Jesse and Michelle met when she sent West Coast Choppers a friend request in hopes to get a modeling job there. Jesse wrote back and gave him his personal e-mail and things started to get personal. Jesse basically led Michelle to believe he was single and free.

“He started saying, ‘Do you want to hang out?’” So a week after he got in touch, Michelle drove two hours from her San Diego home to West Coast Choppers in LA. “I got there around 9 at night,” remembers Michelle, who was starstruck at first. “I was like, ‘Holy s**t. It’s really Jesse James.’”

After taking Michelle on a tour of his garage, Jesse brought her into his office and locked the door. “We ended up on the couch,” she says. “He wanted to watch movies, but I asked him, ‘What’s going on with you and Sandra?’” Jesse was evasive. “He said, ‘She doesn’t live here. She has a house in Austin. She is filming, and I can’t talk about it.’”

“I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man,” Michelle tells In Touch. “He gave me the impression they were separated.” While Sandra was shooting the movie “The Blind Side” in Atlanta, Jesse and Michelle did not just have sex – they actually maintained an intimate relationship.

The two had sex frequently and Jesse did not wear underwear or condoms around Michelle, who called him by the pet name of Vanilla Gorilla because he was so “well-endowed.” Ah! OK! The lovebirds had sex multiple times per night, texted each other frequently and Michelle actually believed she was in a serious relationship with Jesse during those five weeks.

Former “CSI” star Gary Dourdan was allegedly a victim of domestic violence by his girlfriend Maria Asis del Alamo, who was arrested at a Venice, California home and booked on misdemeanor domestic battery on Tuesday afternoon (March 16). Cops arriving at the scene found Gary with visible scratch marks.

Maris is 5’8’’ and 110lbs, while Gary is 6’2’’ and 190lbs, which means absolutely nothing in a case like this. Domestic violence is domestic violence! What should Gary do when his girlfriend is attacking him? If he had restrained her or defended himself, Maria would probably have accused him of assault.

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged daddy Michael Lohan was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be a heart attack on Tuesday (March 16). According to Michael’s famewh*re girlfriend, Kate Major, he hadn’t been feeling well all day and had chest pains. Michael is currently being treated at St. Francis hospital in Manhasset, New York.

“He was short of breath all day,” Kate told RadarOnline. “His blood pressure skyrocketed. Right now they’ve told him it looks like he had a minor heart attack but they are still doing tests on him. Michael was in Miami. We just flew back to New York last night. But he didn’t feel well all day today.”

The 49 year-old celeb daddy had experienced chest pains and had been to the hospital not so long ago before his stunt in the Celebrity Boxing Federation. Kate claims Michael is talking and in good spirits but is scheduled to undergo a small procedure to unclog some arteries on Friday (March 19).

Judy Haim, actor Corey Haim’s mother, made the heart wrecking 911 emergency call that fatidic night her son passed away reportedly due to an accidental prescription drugs overdose. The 911 all audio has been release and it sounds very similar to Brittany Murphy’s mom 911 call (listen here). It is simply heart wrenching (full audio below).

“Oh my god, I think my son is dead, what’s going on?” she says in the call. “Listen, he’s not breathing… He’s 38 years old, I don’t know what’s going on. He had a fever this morning and cold. Core! Get up! Core, please get up… What’s going on… He’s completely, completely gone.”

“I’m doing it [CPR] but he’s not breathing… I don’t know if I’m doing this right… I am pressing but he’s not moving. He’s not moving,” Judy exclaims, pleading all the while with her son to breathe. “He all of a sudden got out of bed. He wanted to go to the bathroom and he fell on the floor and I put him on the bed and then that was it. His eyes went backwards. Oh my god. Core! What’s happening?”

Judy was instructed to start CPR on her son by the emergency dispatcher. Judy was pretty shaken and desperate because her son was not responding. The audio is pretty upsetting – you have been warned. Corey was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead at around 3 am on March 10.

The American Idol Top 12 finalists took over the big stage to perform some of the Rolling Stones’ biggest hits for the first time on Tuesday (March 16). Crystal Bowersox performed an amazing rendition of “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” (watch video below).

I just loved it! Ellen DeGeneres advised Crystal to loosen up, have fun on stage and stop thinking. Simon Cowell claims this was the first time Crystal was beaten and beaten by Siobhan Magnus‘ eccentric, over the top performance. In my opinion, Crystal still won! Love her!
