I had the chance earlier today to talk with Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, star of The Girls Next Door and her own reality television show Kendra, and former NBA star and current TNT Inside the NBA studio analyst Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith on a wide range of topics including their participation in the ‘Sobe Lifewater Zero Inhibitions Bracket Challenge.’

In the interview (watch video above), I asked Kendra about being a new mom. Her son Hank IV was born on December 11, 2009. I asked her about how she dealt with postpartum depression, how she went about losing her pregnancy weight, and how far she has her hometown San Diego State University Aztecs advancing in the NCAA tourney.

(The SDSU Aztecs (#11) play the Tennessee Vols (#6) in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Thursday in Rhode Island.)

With Kenny, I asked him about his alma mater, North Carolina, and how far he had them advancing in the NIT Tournament. The Tar Heels, loaded with talent and resources, missed the NCAA Tournament after going 16-16 after winning the National Championship last year.

I also asked him about columnist Jason Whitlock’s theory that the NCAA Selection Committee intentionally handed Duke an easy bracket to the Final Four. Whitlock’s theory is that Duke brings huge ratings and that in a TV contract year for the NCAA they want TV ratings to be as high as possible when it is time to renegotiate with CBS.

Kenny had a surprise answer when I asked him, as of today, who his NBA Rookie of the Year would be. I gave him the options of Tyreke Evans and Stephon Curry.  His answer was neither of the two and might surprise you on 55 different levels.

Both Kendra and Kenny spoke fondly of Sobe Lifewater and dared anyone to sign up and attempt to pick more correct NCAA basketball tournament winners than they do in their brackets.

Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul, who was initially reportedly set to join Simon Cowell on the American “The X-Factor”, seems to be finalizing a new deal with ABC to host/judge a revamped version of “Star Search”, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“Star Search” first debuted in 1983 with iconic host Ed McMahon and unveiled stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake. ABC wants to launch the new “Star Search” this summer but it is not clear if they will allow Paula to participate as a judge on “The X-Factor”.

Paula did not deny or confirm the news. She simply tweeted, “Once again, until you hear it from me, you can’t believe what you read Lots of love! Paula” Soon! There will be news very, very soon!!

Friends and family of the late actor Corey Haim paid their last tribute in a strictly private funeral ceremony held at the Steeles College Memorial Chapel in Thornhill, Ontario on Tuesday (March 16).

“There were no Hollywood types there, just friends and family,” a source tells PEOPLE. “It was invite only and very strict about entry. People came without invites and were turned away. The streets for blocks around the chapel were full of police guiding traffic. It was sad. The family is devastated.”

Haim’s best friend Corey Feldman announced he would not attend the funeral out of respect for the late actor mother, Judy Haim, who had asked for respect and privacy in the last goodbye to her son. “Due to their strong religious beliefs, and need for privacy, the family has decided to make Corey’s funeral on Tuesday a small, private affair,” Feldman said.

Eccentric singer Lady GaGa is visibly exhausted after more than one year in the spotlight, pushing the envelope, making catchy tunes and two successful albums in a row (“The Fame” and “The Fame Monster”).

At the end of her concert in Auckland, New Zealand, GaGa performed “Bad Romance” but it lacked the usual energy and spark required for that performance. GaGa ended up sitting down, crawling and, finally laying on stage (watch video below). The woman needs to take a break and rest!!

Former call girl and NY Post advice columnist, Ashley Dupre, who shot to fame as NY Governor Eliot Spitzer’s favorite high-end prostitute (more photos here), has already posed completely naked (in nothing but fake fur or barely-there-lingerie) for Playboy Magazine.

According to the NY Post, Ashley was lying on the ground nude and surrounded by candles when her hair caught on fire. “A few strands of her hair caught on fire at one point because of all the hairspray,” a source said. “The stylist, Jorge Serrano from the Chris McMillan Salon, was the first one to notice and rushed over to put it out with his hands.”

Ashley’s will be featured in an eight-page spread, which was shot at an old Malibu mansion, to be included in the May 2010 issue of Playboy Magazine.

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi gets back in a bikini for a new photo shoot feature on the upcoming issue of Women’s Health Magazine (April 2010). The 38 year-old songwriter/music producer was very apprehensive about baring her rocking hot bikini body on Idol’s season finale (photos here) but she admits the stunt probably saved her job.

“I kept saying no! I mean, what crazy nut is gonna go out there in a bikini at almost 40 years of age?” she tells the mag, on stands Tuesday (March 16). Says Kara: “It was a defining moment, like, ‘She’s … as kooky as everyone else on this panel.’” In the exclusive interview (bikini photos below), Kara also talks about battling an eating disorder and how she keeps fit. Here are some highlights:

Battling an eating disorder: “I’d pretty much clean out the refrigerator. Food was my drug of choice. It anesthetized me so I wouldn’t have to feel whatever I was feeling. I’d stuff myself full of sugar and fall asleep.”

On eating healthy: “The more roughage you eat, the more it fills you up.”

On the importance of water: “Two huge bottles a day, minimum. I have them around — one upstairs, one in the car — to force me to remember.”

Her exercise routine: “Two miles of running or 25 minutes of cardio — boxing, treadmill, step-ups, walking lunges, sprints. I mix it up. And weight training is important as you get older. You build muscle which burns fat when you’re at rest.”

The plastic 23 year-old reality star, Heidi Montag, was surprisingly cast in a cameo role in Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s new romantic comedy, “Just Go With It” (or “Pretend Wife”), due out in 2011. Wow! Those plastic surgeries are starting to pay off!

The Sports Illustrated cover girl, Brooklyn Decker (photos), who is married to tennis star Andy Roddick, will also have a small cameo in this movie. Seriously? And Heidi was the best they could get!?! The movie producers are most probably planning on using Heidi’s image as a big joke because that woman clearly can’t act. Haven’t they ever watched “The Hills”?

Idol’s “cougar bait” Casey James, whose ex-wife Kellie James recently revealed that music is his only true passion and real love in life (more details here), has a criminal past which includes several arrests and a one month jail sentence.
