Former “Baywatch” babe Nicole Eggert, who dated and was even engaged to the late Corey Haim, talked for the first time about “The Lost Boys” star’s tragic death warning “don’t assume” it was an overdose.
Several prescription bottles were found at the house where Corey collapsed (read more details here) but the initial autopsy reports show the actor had a pulmonary congestion, water in his lungs and an enlarged heart, which could have caused his death.
Despite the warning, Nicole said there was one “good message” people should take from his death and that is “say no to drugs”. Nicole talked to Corey’s mom, who is reportedly fighting cancer.
In this charity tennis match to raise money for Haiti, retired legends Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi played doubles with current tennis studs Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on Saturday night. Agassi was teamed with Nadal and Sampras with Federer.
All four players wore wearing microphones and interacted with each other and the crowd.
After a good shot by Sampras, Andre chided Sampras, “You always have to go get all serious, huh Pete?”
Sampras then, innocently and to a good laugh from the crowd, decided to imitate some of Agassi’s old mannerisms from back in the day, including his pigeon toed walk to serve.
It all seemed to be in good fun and humor to all in attendance except the grumpy ole’ meth-head. Agassi, very obviously pissed off, decides to start taking shots at Sampras for being a poor tipper. A fact that Agassi unloaded, along with his own drug use and fake mullet, in his autobiography, Open, that was released last year.
Sampras replied, “Awww that’s how you want to play huh?” Sampras then takes aim directly at Agassi’s head with a serve, when he was suppose to be hitting to Nadal.
Agassi, unaware that he is looking like a fool, goes on to say to Pete, “It’s better than being a valet driver and seeing you pulling up.”
Sampras then added, “So lets talk about our baggage! There we go, I’m a bad tipper. I’m sorry Barack Obama.”
Nadal and Federer stood silent and a bit awkward as the exchange took place.
Agassi seems dead certain on ruining whatever legacy he had in tennis. He seems like a bitter old jock that perhaps always envied Sampras, yet denied Pete’s seriousness and dedication to consistently beat him.
Andre seemed to think that the four were going to just lob some balls back and forth as he was the only one wearing long pants and looking like his feet were stuck in concrete.
Andre seems to have forgotten that ‘Image is everything!’ If Andre’s post tennis life were to be compared to that of an ex-president then he would be Jimmy Carter.
The third season of Celebrity Apprentice (and season 9 of The Apprentice series) will start with a battle of sexes on Sunday (March 14, 2010). The 14 celebrities/pseudo-celebrities will be initially divided in two teams – Tenacity (women) and Rocksolid (men) – and each week one of them will hear the dreadful “You’re Fired” from the almighty Donald Trump. The winner will be revealed in a two hour season final on May 23, 2010.

Former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach is seen in this video, obtained by Orangebloods.com under the Freedom of Information Act, going off on his Red Raiders football team.
In the first clip, Leach threatens to take housing away telling two offensive players.
“All you do is pull mediocrity out of one another. Well you’re going to live somewhere else. Last time I checked we are paying the f***ing bills”
In the second clip, he attacks the ‘God Squad,’ a group of players that led the team in prayers before and after the game.
“As long as we are going to have all these prayers out there on the field. As long as we are going to do all this other stuff. I want to make sure that is directed towards football you know.”
Leach was fired by Texas Tech on December 30, 2009, after locking wide receiver Adam James up for several hours in a utility shed while the team practiced. James was recovering from a concussion and was ordered by doctors not to play. Leach claimed the dark ‘closet’ (shed) was to help his condition out.
Cher’s daughter, Chastity Bono, who recently announced she is finally undergoing a difficult process of sex change and changing her name to Chaz Bono, and actress Jennifer Aniston were good friends back in their high school years (photo above).
The two separated and took completely different paths (photos of Jen and Chaz then and now below). Jen became a desperate divorced middle-aged woman with no children, while Chaz finally found herself/himself and love with her/his girlfriend, Jennifer Elia.

The Pittsburg Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger and the patrol officer who initially investigated the sexual assault accusations against him, identified as Sergeant Jerry Blash, posed for a couple of pictures together merely an hour before the incident. Ben also took pictures with the victim before the incident (photo here).
“The photographs did not and have not affected the investigation at all,” Police Chief Woodrow Blue said. Blue guaranteed this will not affect the ongoing investigation since Sgt. Blash was only approached by the victim and wrote the initial incident report.
British boyband star Mark Owen confessed he cheated on his wife (and girlfriend of five years) Emma Ferguson with at least ten women before they got married in October of 2009. Mark maintained a four year old affair with mistress Neva Hanley, which he put an end to just a couple of weeks before his wedding.
Mark confessed the other flings were only one-night stands that happened when he was on tour with “Take That”. “I don’t know how many girls there were in all,” Mark says. ‘Maybe ten.” The 38 year-old singer claims his bandmates, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange did not know about his sexcapades. Yeah, right!!
Neva and Mark maintained contact and remained friends. He even regularly sent his ex-mistress money probably to keep her quiet but they finally decided to cut all contact for the sake of Mark’s marriage.
“She phoned me the week before I got married,” he tells The Sun. “She said she had lost her job and was going to lose her flat – and asked if I could help her out… I wasn’t paying Neva with the intention of keeping her quiet. I’d have no money left if I was paying them all off…”
Mark is a Tiger Woods of boybands wannabe! However he was smart enough to understand the scandal would have made tabloids headlines sooner or later if he hadn’t confessed. Mark and wife Emma have two kids, Elwood (3) and Willow Rose (1).

Anyway it’s time to celebrate! And celebrate was what the top 12 (top 6 guys and top 6 girls) did at the Idol party held at the Industry Club in Los Angeles, California after the live show last night.
Our girls are Crystal Bowersox, Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Lacey Brown, Paige Miles and Siobhan Magnus. The boys with a spot in the Top 12 are Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Lee Dewyze, Michael Lynche (aka Big Mike) and Tim Urban. Horror film actress Tiffany Shepis, best known as “scream queen”, was engaged to actor Corey Haim for some time but his addiction to prescription meds and the lack of desire to get clean led her to call off the engagement. Tiffany is shocked by her ex-lover’s death but she knew he was on a self-destructive path.
“I was trying, like everyone wants to do, to be Mother Teresa and help somebody, like Corey [Feldman] did and tons of other people in the past,” Tiffany says. “I moved him out to Arizona thinking it would help and get him away from everything and the people who were setting him up to fail.”
“It didn’t work out,” she says of the move to Tucson. “I broke everything off before he left. There was just no progression, and if somebody doesn’t want to get better…”
Tiffany and Corey announced their engagement to her family on Thanksgiving 2008. Even then Corey’s addiction was painfully obvious and it was already completely out of control. “He was completely gone,” she tells E! News. “He kept disappearing and everyone was like, ‘Where is Corey?’ He would just go hide away…be in the bathroom.”
Tiffany’s sister Becky remembers Corey as someone really sweet who really wanted to be with her sister and be part of their family. However, whenever Becky visited her sister at their place, Corey was a completely different person. “He was always out of it,” Becky admits. “He always had a glazed-over look. He kind of just looked hazy, not all there.”
When Tiffany finally realized she wasn’t able to force Corey to change, their relationship was over. The two regained contact when Corey returned to LA in early 2009. Their relationship/contact was always complicated and tumultuous.
“I would go back and forth,” Tiffany says of their communication. “I would get insane phone calls, insane emails. Like stuff that you can’t even imagine a person saying to another person. And then I would run into him and he would look half OK and look like he’d gained some weight. I think he had like little mini, two-week instances of sobriety and then hard-core falloffs.”
