Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin has finally come out of the closet to admit he is, in fact, gay, after years of denial. The 38 year-old claims the birth of his twin sons, Matteo and Valentino, in August of 2008, is what encouraged his heartfelt confession today.

“I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man,” Ricky wrote today in an intimate and personal letter on his Web site. “I am very blessed to be who I am. To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids were born with.”

“What will happen from now on? It doesn’t matter,” Ricky affirms at the end of his letter. “I can only focus on what’s happening to me in this moment. The word ‘happiness’ takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process. Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Writing this is a solid step towards my inner peace and vital part of my evolution.”

It was finally time for Ricky to stop playing games and just be himself. The people who really love him will continue to do so and those who don’t were not worthy. Barbara Walters recently confessed that she believes the questions she made about Ricky’s sexuality in an interview back in 2000 might have destroyed his career.

Action Comics No. 1, which was the debut of Superman to the comic world, sold at an internet auction this week for $1.5 million. The amount paid is a record amount for a comic book.

Many believe that there is only around 100 issues of the comic book in existence.  The comic was published in 1938 and originally sold for 10 cents.

Very few of the 100 left are in good condition.  The one sold here was graded at a 8.5.  Another copy of the same comic sold for $1 million back in January, then a record. That one was graded 8.0.

In between the two Action Comics #1 that set world records, Batman temporarily held the record when his debut appearance, Detective Comics #27, sold for $1,075,000.

Singer Erykah Badu completely strips off her clothes slowly, one piece at a time until she is completely nude, while walking the streets around Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas for her latest music video for the song “Window Seat” (watch video below).

According to CBS News, Badu is completely nude as she approaches the spot on Elm where President John F. Kennedy was shot (which is marked with an “X” on the pavement). The sound of a gunshot can be heard and Badu collapses as if she has been shot.

Streaks of blue “blood” then spill from her head as she lays in the street, spelling the word “groupthink.”

The video is controversial. It was shot in one single take and Erykah did not have permission for shooting the video in Dallas, which makes it illegal. This type of one take video shoots with no permit is known as “guerilla filming” and the singer could have been arrested or face other penalties.

Country music fallen star Mindy McCready, who reportedly leaked McDreamy’s Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart and Kari Ann Peniche‘s threesome sex tape (NSFW link), is the star of an x-rated sex tape to be released by Vivid Entertainment on April 19, in which she is performing several explicit sexual acts with her boyfriend named Peter.

The sex tape titled “Baseball Mistress” (a reference to her affair with Roger Clemens) also includes a very dirty tell-all interview. Mindy tells some intimate details of her affairs with the stars and revels Clemens was good in bed, despite his problems with erectile dysfunction. OUCH!

Mindy insists she and Clemens only got intimate after she was of legal age and confesses she never met his wife, Debra Clemens, but she wish she had to know the real Roger Clemens. “I wish she and I had spoken because I realize now that the stories I was being told from Roger weren’t exactly the truth,” Mindy tells the camera.

Dean Cain, also one of her lovers/boyfriend, is way better than Clemens in bed, according to Mindy. The now 34 year-old also says Oprah is racist because she allegedly told that Mindy should have been able to escape an abusive relationship since she is white. That part doesn’t make much sense… but Mindy’s life is a total mess. She recently appeared in the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Dear Sean Penn,

WHY?

Even though I have great respect for your artistic talent, I was appalled by a recent television interview where you vigorously showed support for the regime of Hugo Chavez. Therefore, I’ve decided to set the record straight for you regarding the Chavez regime, supporting my case based not only on my political ideologies, but on proven facts you choose to ignore.  Otherwise, I believe your position would be different.

Being born in Cuba, a country where freedom of speech is non-existent, it’s startling to observe how Venezuela, where I was happily raised, is fast becoming Cuba’s mirror image: Dismantling of fundamental democratic rights deserved by its people and citizens of the world.

For example, you said that all Chavez-winning elections in Venezuela were “transparent.”

Then WHY didn’t the government allow a manual recount of the votes and computer information when doubt set in? After all, how do you explain how these votes that were strongly favoring the opposition mysteriously reflected the opposite results the morning after, thus permitting Chavez to continue on?  On what are you basing your conclusions? I strongly recommend that you read a report by the U.S. State Department written in 2009 entitled “The Fraudulent Elections in Venezuela”.

We live in a Republic comprised of three autonomous branches of government: Supreme Court, Congress and Executive, thus, a true democracy.

Then WHY do you accept violations by part of the government of Venezuela to ignore its Constitution whereby one man, military-educated Chavez, controls all branches of government? His military background is revealed by his philosophy: “I order, you obey and if you disagree you’re a traitor to the country.” And your voice is silenced along with the ability of freethinking. Did you know solely the government controls 92% of media communications?

You’ve strongly criticized your own governments’ overspending and corruption, whereby the budget for We the people never ends up in the hands of those who need it most.

Then WHY do you support a government with over $100 million in oil revenue that has 71% poverty? Or don’t you know that corruption is so rampant that the rightfully deserving poor never sees a “red cent”?  In addition, the fact is that Chavez gives away millions of dollars; belonging to the Venezuelan people, to other countries in order to build a false sense of philanthropy of a man whose self-proclaiming ego is blinded by power behind a communist Cuban-style revolution, expanding such regime.

We live in the U.S.A., the land of opportunity to do and say what we desire,  respecting dissenting points of view, of course and without reprisals.

Then WHY do you defend a government whose stronghold upon its people is so oppressive that a big price is paid for exercising freedom of speech: Persecutions, closing of radio and television stations, jail…and even death?

Kim was just letting her over 3 million followers know she was having some fun with her girls and she used the word pimpin’, which is a term widely used as something cool, new and original (remember MTV’s “Pimp My Ride”?).
