Actress Katherine Heigl, who plays the role of Izzie in “Grey’s Anatomy”, has finally confirmed she is leaving the hit TV show for good in order to concentrate on her family (husband Josh Kelley and adopted daughter Naleigh – photos here).

Katherine told Entertainment Weekly, “I am done. We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It’s sad but it’s what I wanted.”

“I started a family and it changed everything for me,” she explains. “It changed my desire to work full-time. I know I’m disappointing the fans. I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one.”

I was never a fan of Izzie but I have to admit Katherine did a great job with the role she was offered. The truth is you can really tell Katherine is more interested in making movies than working the tight and frantic schedule of TV shows. The Learning Channel (TLC) has come to an agreement with controversial politician Sarah Palin to debut her reality TV show about Alaska according to the L.A. Times.

Burnett and Palin shopped the show to all the major broadcast networks, but none bit. Other cable networks that kicked the tires of the show included the Arts and Entertainment Network.

There is no official word on how much money Palin will be paid per episode.  Early reports had the number at nearly $1 million dollars.

Palin continues to keep herself in the public eye with appearances on The Tonight Show, Tea Party appearances, and on Fox News.

Golfer Tiger Woods and singer/actress LeAnn Rimes allegedly “went out a few times” and had some fun before she married her husband, Dean Sheremet, back in 2002. LeAnn is pretty much Tiger’s type but her father thought she was too young to date Tiger, who is seven years older than the singer.

Professor Peter Kelly, a director of public health in Britain, is making the claim and connection that the rise of the sexually transmitted disease (STD) syphilis in several towns in his area.  He claims that the rise of syphilis has increased fourfold.

He believes this is taking place due to the increased popularity and easiness of people meeting on Facebook and other social networking sites for casual sex and hookups.

He said: “Syphilis is a devastating disease. Anyone who has unprotected sex with casual partners is at high risk.

“There has been a fourfold increase in the number of syphilis cases detected with more young women being affected.

“I don’t get the names of people affected, just figures, and I saw that several of the people had met sexual partners through these sites.

“Social networking sites are making it easier for people to meet up for casual sex.”

Facebook has of course firmly denied the accusation.  A Facebook spokesperson released a statement that said basically that Facebook is a place for “Our website is not a place for people to meet for casual sex – it’s a place for friends, family, and co-workers to connect and share.”

Facebook can deny it all they want. They can pretend Facebook is used only for noble and high-arching purposes, but Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites are often a red light district for socially challenged sextroverts.

“Vanilla Gorilla” aka Jesse James has been offered a lucrative deal to pose completely naked/nude for Playgirl Magazine. Jesse’s tattooed mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGee said he was well-endowed and Playgirl wants the exclusive.

Who knows if a mistress out there doesn’t already have compromising pictures of Sandra Bullock’s husband… Playgirl’s rep Daniel Nardicio revealed they already have a scenario planned for Jesse. The circus freak pornographic typical scenario would be perfect!

“Actress” Tara Reid, who recently stripped off her clothes to show her body in a photo spread for Playboy Magazine, is engaged to her boyfriend Michael Axtmann (photos here) and, finally ready to tie the knot but she wants everything to be exactly like she dreamed it – a fairytale!

A medical helicopter crashed at around 6:00 am on Thursday morning near Brownsville, Tennessee. Three crew members were killed. The helicopter was not, at the time, transporting any patients.

A Hospital Wing helicopter crashed at approximately 6 a.m. this morning just east of Brownsville, Tenn.  Three crew members were on board.  No patients were on board.  The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are on the scene and the crash is under investigation.

The helicopter is owned by Hospital Wing, a non-profit.  Conditions in the area were overcast and rainy at the time of the crash.  The FAA has confirmed the crash but has not released any details.

Another woman, Brigitte Daguerre, claims she also had an affair with Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James. Brigitte aka mistress #3 is a photographer based in Los Angeles who was hired by Jesse to do styling work for a West Coast Chopper photo shoot back in 2008.

During a year, Jesse and Brigitte e-mailed and texted each other back and forth, but they only had four sexual encounters before she allegedly dumped Jesse. Brigitte has 195 text messages and many of those are extremely graphic/explicit. Jesse confessed, “I’m texting you in secret” and promised, “I’ll be your monkey.”

Jesse’s first two mistresses, Michelle “Bombshell” McGee (photos here) and Melissa Smith (photos here), also said that he liked to use the “Vanilla Gorilla” nickname. What an idiot! At least Brigitte is not another tattooed circus freak!
