American Idol Lennon/McCartney Top 9 Results April 7: Who Got Voted Off?
Who was voted of American Idol? The American Idol Season 9 Top 9 contestants performed some of The Beatles’ biggest hits out of John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney’s rich songbook on Tuesday (April 6) – watch videos below. Another contestant who failed to impress America will have to say goodbye to the competition on the results show on Wednesday (April 7). And Idol’s Top 8 will be revealed.

Singer Rihanna is one of the special musical guests and she will perform her “Rockstar 101” out of her new album, “Rated R”. Jason Derülo is set to perform “In My Head” and Idol Season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta, will return to the Idol stage to reprise his emotional performance of John Lennon’s “Imagine”.
2010 American Idol 9 Top 12 Guys (BIOS, PHOTOS, VIDEOS)
Who will get the boot on Idol tonight? We don’t love to hate but Tim Urban is most probably going to be in the bottom three along with Aaron Kelly and Andrew Garcia. There were some good performances and a couple of fantastic ones (Casey James and Crystal Bowersox!) but overall it was a bit above average for this season’s standards.

Aaron and Andrew keep doing exactly the same thing week after week. No matter how much we love these two, it’s time for them to change or one of them to go home. Tim’s performance was so praised last night that we are kind of afraid of a reverse psychology effect, which would make Tim finally smile his way out of the Idol stage.

Normally I do not comment on many things but this Idol season is the worst since the show started. The viewers voted and Mike had the least votes. The judges saved Mike which is their option. I believe this is a slap in the face of the voting viewers. This year the judges have commented on each performance. They have been consistant in their critiism. They have put down artists no matter how good or bad they did. The have been consistant in praising their favorites. By their comments they have been trying to sway the voting viewers. Randy had been bad but Kara has been the works. She tells the contestant what they should do and when the do what she says she critizes the even harder. The favoritism this year is sickening.
