Katie Stevens “Let It Be” American Idol Top 9 (VIDEO)

The American Idol Season 9 Top 9 finalists had the privilege to be able to sing songs written by The Beatles’ legends John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney on the live show on Tuesday (April 6). Katie Stevens finally connected with the song and gave a fantastic performance of the classic “Let It Be” (watch video below).

Katie’s best performance ever! This time Katie does not deserve to be in the bottom three! It was a powerful performance and great vocals. Simon Cowell obviously isn’t really familiar with country music because he keeps saying Katie is a country singer. He also said Katie’s performance had a more country sound and that’s why she did so well. Ryan Seacrest asked Simon to specify which country he was speaking about. LOL
