Former NBA player Charles Barkley has come out in Tiger Woods’ defense against comments made by Augusta National chairman, William “Bill” Payne, who accused the golfer of being a bad role model for “our children” due to Tiger’s history of transgressions.

Barkley said, “Billy Payne took his pain, feel like its his place to chastise Tiger. You know the whole hypocrisy of this of this whole sports scene just drives me nuts. All these reporters that want to play God, judge and jury on somebody’s private life.”

Barkley is irritated because people want to play God and judge Tiger for his personal life, which is none of their business. Sir Charles claims he didn’t know about Tiger’s transgressions but even if he knew, it’s like he didn’t because that is Tiger’s business. Are you confused yet?

Tiger is now wishing his good friend, who along with Michael Jordan introduced him to a wild lifestyle, would have just kept his mouth shut. Barkley also claims to have advised Tiger to start accepting he is, in fact, a black man.
