How did Dixie Carter die? “Designing Women” star Dixie Carter passed away on Saturday (April 10) but the location and cause of death remains a mystery. The family refuses to release such information at least for now, which is raising a lot of questions about the actress’ unexpected death.
The 70 year-old actress was nominated for an Emmy for a seven-episode guest appearance on the hit TV show, “Desperate Housewives”, back in 2007. Dixie had been away from the spotlight for the past couple of years.
