The American Idol Season 9 Top 9 (8+1) contestants were mentored by Adam Lambert, Idol’s season 8 runner-up, in Vegas and performed some of Elvis Presley’s biggest hits on Tuesday (April 13) – watch videos below. Two contestants will be forced to leave the competition on the results show on Wednesday (April 14) because Michael Lynche was saved by the judges last week (read more details). And Idol’s Top 7 will be revealed.

Who will get the boot on Idol tonight? We predict Aaron Kelly and Andrew Garcia will be in the bottom three again. They are both very talented but they have failed to improve or even show us something different – we feel like we are watching the same performance every week! Unfortunately, we think Katie Stevens and Big Mike will be in danger again! Will Tim Urban survive another week? YES! Tim’s fanbase is huge and dedicated.

The two contestants who should say goodbye to the competition are Andrew and Aaron. I love them but they weren’t capable of creating that unforgettable moment. Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze are the only contestants I believe to be completely safe tonight. Tonight’s result show will be filled with drama and surprises, you can’t miss it.

UPDATE 2: Miley’s ex-bf Justin Gaston and Brooke White take over the stage!! Justin is extra nervous and sounds terrible!!

UPDATE 3: Dim the lights! Lee Dewyze, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens, Michael Lynche, Crystal Bowersox and Tim Urban are on the center of the stage! Crystal and Siobhan are SAFE!!! Lee will also return next week as we predicted!

UPDATE 5: Idol runner-up Adam Lambert returns to the Idol stage to perform his new single, “Whataya Want From Me“!! And he is rocking the stage again and again!! Adam’s performance was very tame – no crotch grabbing but he brought lasers!! LUVs it!!

UPDATE 6: OMG!!! Seriously?? Tim Urban is SAFE!!! Big Mike vs. Katie Stevens! Katie leaves and Big Mike wasn’t even in the bottom three with the least votes!
