Shannon Engemann Denies Being Larry King’s Mistress (PHOTOS)
Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick both filed for divorce after several heated arguments over a possible affair of the TV host with his sister-in-law, Shannon Engemann (more sexy pictures below). Shannon vehemently denies these accusations.
Shawn has been accusing Shannon of fooling around with her husband since the National Enquirer published a story about an alleged “inappropriate” relationship between the King and Shannon. Shawn believed King’s gifts to his sister-in-law were proof of their affair.
Shannon said, “This is so ludicrous. She’s singling me out, but Larry has been nothing but generous to our entire family, including me. Shawn has left me threatening messages.”
Shannon added, “Shawn left me a message … ‘If you dare sue the Enquirer I will pull out every last receipt that proves you had an affair with Larry.’ I’m tired for taking the wrap for things. I did not have an affair with Larry. He’s been like a father to me.”
“I have a date tonight and I’m not going to worry about it. I love my sister. What’s happening is not my fault,” Shannon concluded.
A source told TMZ, Larry transferred several properties, which included their Beverly Hills mansion, to his wife’s name to show her he was still committed to their marriage a couple of years ago, when Shawn started to think he was having an extramarital affair.
It’s Shannon’s word against her sister’s. Larry would never admit he had an affair unless there is some pretty irrefutable evidence or more mistresses to come out. We do not believe Larry has the stamina necessary to be another Tiger 2.0.
