American Idol Shania Twain Top 5 Results April 28: Who Got Voted Off?
Who was voted off American Idol? The American Idol Season 9 Top 6 finalists were mentored by country singer/songwriter Shania Twain during a night dedicated to country music and Twain’s songbook on Tuesday (April 27) – watch videos below. One contestant will be forced to leave the competition on the results show Wednesday (April 28). And our Top 5 will be revealed.

After a boring country night, we can only hope mentor Shania Twain takes over the Idol stage to show them how it’s done with a performance of “Man, I Feel Like a Woman”. No, that was too much to ask for… instead we will be presented with performances by Lady Antebellum (“Need You Now”), who won several ACM Awards earlier this month, and Rascal Flatts (“Unstoppable”), who will later join Shakira to perform “Gypsy”.
2010 American Idol 9 Top 12 Guys (BIOS, PHOTOS, VIDEOS)
Who will get the boot on Idol tonight? Tough question! The Top 6 performances were average and not really memorable with the exception of Siobhan Magnus, who ruptured our eardrums with her pitchiness and annoyingly painful scream at the end of her rendition of “Any Man Of Mine” (watch video here). Anyway, Siobhan was praised by the judges and should be irresponsibly safe tonight.
2010 American Idol 9 Top 12 Girls (BIOS, PHOTOS, VIDEOS)
Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, Casey James and Aaron Kelly should be in the bottom three this week. In my opinion, Casey’s spot should be filled by Shioban. Aaron and Big Mike will probably have to face each other in the bottom two, so who will be sent home? Unfortunately, Aaron’s sweet dedication to his mother should keep him in the competition for another week and our teddy bear will have to leave the show.

UPDATE: Here we go! We will meet Idol’s top 5 in less than a hour! Stay tuned for drama of the elimination show. Ryan Seacrest announces they received over 32 million votes! Rascal Flatts kick off the show with “Unstoppable”.
UPDATE 2: Idol’s top 6 become vampires… how original!?! OK! Casey looks hot! And Siobhan is the perfect vampire! SCARY!! First Idol channels Twilight and now Idol meets Shrek! How fabulous! Can we get to the results already? Or Shakira!! Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas are on Idol to promote the last Shrek movie!!
UPDATE 3: It’s time for some results! Three groups of two will be formed! Siobhan Magnus and Lee Dewyze. Aaron Kelly and Crystal Bowersox. Big Mike and Casey James. Ryan mixes it up! Big Mike, Casey and Siobhan are in the bottom 3!!! OMG! We almost nailed it! Siobhan was a surprise!!
UPDATE 4: Idol Carrie Underwood introduces Sons Of Sylvia, who are joining her on tour across the country! They sing their first single, “Love Left To Lose“, and their debut album, “Revelation” will come out tomorrow!! Andy Antebellum perform their smash hit “Need You Now”! Shakira and Rascal Flatts together on stage performing her song “Gypsy“.
UPDATE 5: Big Mike vs. Siobhan Magnus vs. Casey James! OMG!!! Big Mike is SAFE!!!! Casey and Siobhan in the bottom two!! Please, please keep Casey!!! Siobhan is kicked off!!! That was fair!! Casey is safe!! We love him!! Sorry Siobhan, but we needed better vocals and less screaming!! Siobhan sang her goodbyes to the show and screamed her heart out of course!
