Former WCW/WWE wrestled Chris Kanyon was found dead of apparent suicide with an overdose of pills at his apartment in Queens, NY on Friday (April 2). The 40 year-old suffered from a bipolar disorder and had threatened to commit suicide several times in the past.

Chris, whose real name was Chris Klucsaritis, retired from wrestling back in 2004 when he was released allegedly for coming out of the closet as the first gay wrestler, which he later denied and confessed again. Chris was also severely depressed and claimed WWE fired him for being gay.

Bristly West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins showed his softer more compassionate side on Saturday night at the NCAA Men’s Final Four when his star player Da’Sean Butler injured his knee.

Butler flopped around on the floor in pain and disappointment until Huggins came onto the court, straddled him while cradling  his head and consoled Butler.  It was the most touching moment of the tournament, not just this year, but perhaps of all-time.

Huggins’ players often enjoy playing for Huggins, and the coach truly lived up to his ‘Huggy Bear’ nickname on Saturday night.

West Virgina lost the game to Duke, but Butler’s injury seems to be less severe than most first imagined.

Butler was named the NCAA Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Year before the game.

“Dancing With The Stars” hottie Erin Andrews, whose naked body was exposed in a voyeur peephole video (more details here), is now the victim of very violent threatening e-mails that have been sent by an unknown male to DirectTV’s “The Dan Patrick Show” since last September.

The man from Newport News, Virginia started sending very sexual e-mails on September 16, 2009, which was followed by more sexual suggestive e-mails on October 5, October 28, November 16 and December 2. The e-mails started turning violent on March 14 probably because the man was upset about getting no reply and at the same time Erin was battling her stalker, Michael David Barrett, in court.

Here are a some examples of what the man wrote in those threatening e-mails:

March 14, 2010 — “I would love to get close enough to her to show her my suicide vest.”

March 26, 2010 — “I hope she gets shot in the face. I would love to see if she can dance away from a hail of gunfire. That would really make my day.”

March 29, 2010 — “Dear Dan: I hope Erin Andrews gets murdered in L.A.”

There were other two violent and threatening e-mails on March 22 and March 29. Erin’s lawyer, Marshall Grossman, is shocked his client was warned about this e-mails sooner. Grossman said, “We are outraged that these emails did not come to our attention until now.”

A rep for DirecTV tells TMZ, “DIRECTV executives at the Dan Patrick Show became aware of the threatening emails on March 30 and immediately notified DIRECTV corporate security who then immediately contacted the appropriate authorities and representatives of Erin Andrews.”

FBI is currently investigating the case and they already know the identity of the man, who did not even try to hide it in those e-mails that have even more brutal, violent and threats directed to the ESPN reporter.

The big ‘fuss’ at the McDonald’s High School All-American game earlier this week was the heated trash talking that took place between the players at the event that had committed to Duke and North Carolina.

Draft Express (great site for tracking NBA prospects) interviewed the North Carolina trio of Harrison Barnes, Kendall Marshall, and Reggie Bullock. The three seemed to be cutting up and having a good time during the impromptu interview.

Barnes and Marshall hinted that Bullock has a problem of opening his mouth and saying some dumb stuff and on cue Bullock did just that.

“We going to have signs about him (Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski) too….that he looks like a rat!”

And with that, the damage was done. Barnes and Marshall quickly distanced themselves from the statement. Bullock, having a bit too much fun, was given a chance to apologize but instead almost repeated himself.

Prized Notre Dame Fighting Irish football recruit Matt James died Friday after falling from a hotel balcony in Panama City, Florida, while partying on Spring Break.

A 6-foot-6, 291-pound offensive tackle, James was named USA Today first-team All-American after leading Cincinnati’s St. Xavier to a No. 4 ranking in the final state poll.

Police say James died almost instantly after his fall from a Days Inn Hotel.  The Cincinnati native was on Spring Break with fellow high school teammate, quarterback Luke Massa, who also committed to the Irish.

A tragic and unfortunate event for James’ family and the Irish.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Matt James.

Panama City has for decades been one of the most popular spots for high school seniors on Spring Break.

Shaquille O’Neal, who is currently finalizing divorce from his wife Shaunie O’Neal (photos here), and one of his mistress, Vanessa Lopez, who is rumored to be negotiating her own reality show, were caught via some flirty text messages.

According to Radar, Shaq’s wife had a private investigator to find some evidence of her husband’s affairs like text messages or e-mails. When Shaunie read some text exchanges between Shaq and Vanessa, she decided she would file for divorce. If you are expecting something juicy and dirty like Tiger Woods and Joslyn James’ text messages, you will be disappointed.

The texts messages, dated between Sept. 4 and Sept. 9 of 2009, were received on Lopez’s iPhone. One of them dated Sept. 4 at 12:45am reads:

Lopez: “I have always been good to you. I am a very private person. I never spoke about us to anyone. Ever! Don’t deserve that from you. I am not wining. I just miss you so settle down.”
Shaq: “Well just say that then I’m a c u tomorrow.”

Another text, dated Sept. 6 at 12:28am reads:
Lopez: “I hope you had a wonderful day! I wish you were here papi ”
Shaq: “Tomorro”
Lopez: “I will make sure I put on something very sexy for you ”

And another, dated Sept. 7 at 12:01am reads:
Shaq: “Hey baby I’m still wit da babies. I’m sorry I’m a c u when I get bak”
Lopez: “I think you are such an amazing person inside and out. I truly wish you the best in life. No one deserves it more than you.”
Shaq: “Thanks baby I will make it up to u”

Vanessa recently decided to sue Shaq for harassment when he allegedly indirectly threatened her because she thought she was pregnant with his child after maintaining a sexual affair with the NBA star for more than five years. Shaq also had an affair with a Swedish model, Dominica Westling (photos here), who refuses to speak claiming she loves him.

Golfer Tiger Woods apparently craved public affection so badly that in a 2005 interview he told he had been victim of a brutal racist attack at his first day at school. Tiger said, “a group of sixth graders tied me to a tree, spray-painted the word ‘nigger’ on me, and threw rocks at me. That was my first day of school. And the teacher really didn’t do much of anything.”

Tiger’s kindergarten teacher, Maureen Decker, was shocked and hurt to hear Tiger’s tale, which she believes never happened. Mrs. Decker said, “… no such incident ever occurred to Tiger Woods while he was under [my] care as a kindergarten pupil on the first day of class.”

In a press conference in her attorney Gloria Allred’s office, Mrs. Decker demanded a private and public apology from her former pupil to finally “put my mind at ease and set the record straight.” The poor teacher claims that she has been suffering from migraines and elevated blood pressure as a result of this ordeal (watch video below).

Cerritos Elementary School in Cypress’ former principal, Donald Hill has also never heard about this incident Tiger claims he was victim of. Linda DaVeiga, a mom who was constantly at school around the time, also never held of such a big incident like that. In conclusion, Tiger is a liar!!

Christian music group MercyMe is successfully doing what grunge gods Pearl Jam failed to do during the mid-90′s…sell concert tickets without Ticketmaster’s price gouging.

MercyMe is on its second successful and profitable tour without the benefit of Ticketmaster and its service fees, convenience fees, internet fees, and monopoly fees that Ticketmaster charges customers for buying tickets to their favorite concerts, sporting events, and popular events.

So how is MercyMe doing it?  They are simply selling $10 tickets at the door for their shows.  They have averaged around 10,000 people a show which is a tremendous amount of tickets to sell at the door, without the aid of Ticketmaster.

The Christian group has been smart in putting an all-star cast of Christian groups and solo artists together to make it a very appealing (and yes cheap) ticket.

Millard said he and the rest of his band picked the groups for the bill in attempt to give every member of the family something to enjoy, from the frenetic, hip-hop-influenced alternative sounds of Family Force 5, female singer-songwriter Francesca Battistelli, more straight-ahead worship rock acts like Remedy Drive and Fee and David Crowder Band, who were described by one reviewer as the Christian version of Radiohead. While most of these bands have headlined tours on their own, they’re all on one bill for a tenth of the going rate of many of the shows hosted by the same venues the Rock and Worship Roadshow is hitting.

Will MercyMe’s trend catch on?  I know I would go to 5-10 more concerts a year if I didn’t have to deal with Ticketmaster.  There is nothing more infuriating than having to pay fee – on top of fee – on top of fee for already overpriced concert tickets.

And why the heck is there a service fee and convience fee?  It’s the internet, and I am usually using my own ink and paper to print the tickets off the Ticketmaster website.  Ticketmaster should be discounting my tickets for the costs I incur in manufacturing the tickets at my house.

Jesse James is in one big ugly messy situation! He is currently doing what he can to save his marriage but we doubt Sandra Bullock will forgive all his “transgressions”. According to RadarOnline, Jesse got one his mistresses pregnant since he wasn’t exactly a fan of protected sex while married to the Oscar-winning actress.

“Jesse got a mistress pregnant,” a source told RadarOnline exclusively. “Jesse knew about it.” This unidentified woman never had the baby but Jesse certainly knew about it. The question is: was it a miscarriage or an abortion? Jesse’s infidelities are just getting dirtier and nastier – a foursome, paid sex at strip clubs and who knows what else?

Sandra is staying out of the spotlight by hiding inside her Hollywood Hills mansion. She recently left home for a possible business meeting surrounded by bodyguards/assistants (photos here) and she is determined to divorce Jesse. He apparently confessed to have slept with seven different women during their five year marriage.
