The American Idol Season 9 Top 6 finalists, who were mentored by country star Shania Twain, tackled some of the best songs from the Shania Twain musical repertoire in a night dedicated to the country star on Tuesday (April 20). Michael Lynche aka Big Mike continued to melt hearts with his own “R&B” version of the sweet ballad “It Only Hurts When I’m Breathing” (watch video below).

As Shania said Mike could be singing the phone book and everybody would still melt. Idol’s teddy bear is back… that was such a sweet performance. Ellen DeGeneres compared him to Luther Vandross and Simon Cowell agreed. Simon also described Mike’s performance as a bit too “wet”, which means a bit too girly… Simon, shut up!!

The American Idol Season 9 Top 6 finalists, who were mentored by country star Shania Twain, tackled some of the best songs from the Shania Twain musical repertoire in a night dedicated to the country star on Tuesday (April 20). Lee Dewyze chose one of my favorite songs of all-time and made me cry with his rendition of “You’re Still The One” (watch video below).

Lee was amazing! We actually believed he could have written that song. Ellen DeGeneres thought he was great and couldn’t look cuter. Aw! Simon Cowell claimed Lee was pulling some “weird faces” (he was smiling!!) and praised him for his song choice, saying “it’s the perfect song.”

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father Michael Lohan, who is in a very public battle against his family to get his oldest daughter the proper help (read full details here), was allegedly victim of a hacker who sent out some very disturbing tweets via Michael’s official Twitter account (@MichaelJLohan).

The “hacker” claimed Lindsay had an affair with music mogul Tommy Motolla when she was 17 and that she was HIV positive. The pervert “hacker” tweeted, “It’s time you learned the truth. The truth about Tommy Motolla engaging in an affair with my then-17 year old daughter,” followed by “the truth about my daughter living with HIV for the rest of her life as a result of the decisions she has made.”

Michael was apparently very upset by what happened. The authorities are currently investigating this incident and Michael is planning on pressing charges for identity theft. “Someone hacked into my account,” Michael told Hollyscoop. “There’s an investigation going on now to find out who it was…I’m going to press charges as soon as I find out.”

However Lindsay believes that her own father posted those tweets in an attempt to get even more media attention, money and try to damage her reputation beyond repair. “He’s a grown man and has done the exact same things on TV/ in interviews, [so] why wouldn’t he lie on Twitter and everywhere else? He just wants money — and he’s using me, my name, my status, my mother, brothers and sister for the cash to pay for [another] wedding,“ Lindsay said.

Country star Shania Twain, who was a guest judge during the auditions stage this season, is back to mentor the American Idol Season 9 Top 6 finalists in a week dedicated to her own repertoire. This will be a very interesting show. It will be especially entertaining to see how the guys tackle Shania’s “girl power” songs. Unfortunately, I’m really sorry to spoil it for you but none of our Top 6 finalists will be performing the infamous “That Don’t Impress Me Much” in a sexy leopard-print unitard. So disappointing…

Who was eliminated on Dancing With The Stars? Our seven remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners took over the dance floor to deliver sensual Latin-ballroom style performances. The seven couples ended battling off on the dance floor with a swing dance marathon on the live show on Monday (April 26).

Nicole Scherzinger’ Samba earned the Pussycat Doll the leadership of the scoreboard and she also won the Swing Dance marathon, adding 10 points to her initial score (36= 26+10). Chad Ochocinco is back in the competition after a fierce and passionate Argentine Tango.

So who will be in the bottom two this week? With Kate Gosselin out of the competition, Niecy Nash is most probably the weakest dancer of the group. Niecy and Jake Pavelka failed to impress on the dance floor, despite the fact they both bring a lot of energy and passion to their performances.

Unfortunately, the public at home doesn’t seem to be a fan of Pamela Anderson, which may land her once again in the bottom two couples. But we believe Pammy should survive another week and Bachelor Jake should get the boot. We still love him!

Poison’s frontman Bret Michaels’ father, Wally Sychak, revealed that his son sounds “slow but fine” on the phone, saying “He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way.”

Bret remains under observation in the ICU at an undisclosed hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage last week (read more details here). In a recent statement released via Bret’s Facebook, the rocker was suffering from slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness.

Wally also told Extra, Bret is starting to move his limbs again. “They say he’s moving his arms and hands,” he says. “The best as they could expect at this time.” Bret’s rep told US, “He’s on a lot of medication, and going through all these tests … they’re still trying to figure out why this occurred. Doctors are seeing all the tests, hoping the worst is over.”

Bret seems like such a nice guy. We finally had the privilege to know him a lot better through his participation on “Celebrity Apprentice” [2010 Celebrity Apprentice Season 3 Official Cast (Bios, PHOTOS, VIDEOS)] and we continue praying for a quick and full recovery.

Singer Christina Aguilera, who took a very long break after the birth of her son Max, just released a ten-second sneak peek of the music video for her first single, “Not Myself Tonight”, out of her upcoming album “Bionic” (watch video below).

Christina is back with ultra sexy music video, where she is dancing around half-naked, wearing all types of extra sensual lingerie – that outfit in the picture above is actually quite tame for what Christina actually wore during the video shoot.

The full music video will premiere on Friday (April 30), but until then Christina is going to keep teasing us with short clips and photos. And Christina’s fourth studio album will be available on June 8, 2010. Stay tuned…

Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James, who just recently left rehab, has been fascinated with the “Nazi culture” since he was a young kid, according to his estranged father, Larry James (watch video below).

The picture of Jesse with a Nazi hat and giving the Nazi salute (photos/video here) did not surprise Larry, who said he gave Jesse information about the Neo-Nazi movement “as a joke” and quickly realized that Jesse actually “liked their war machine, he liked their uniforms, he liked their guns, he liked everything about them.”

Jesse and his father haven’t spoken in a long time and Larry actually never met his son’s wife (soon to be ex-wife!) Sandra Bullock. Actress Olivia Munn is the latest celebrity to ditch her clothes and pose nude for PETA.  Munn sits nude, cross-legged, on a large billboard for PETA overlooking Los Angeles in an advertisement asking everyone to boycott the circus.

The Attack of the Show! host posed au naturel for the ad, which features a backdrop of elephants in their native environment alongside the words, “As Nature Intended, Let Elephants Be Free. Boycott the Circus.” The billboard, which was shot by top celebrity photographer Hama Sanders, is located at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Highland Avenue.

Munn feels especially passionate about this issue. In an exclusive PETA interview, she explains, “I had seen a video online about the mistreatment and abuse of these elephants at the Ringling Bros. circus event, and I was brought to tears.”

Munn, whose film credits include roles in Date Night and the upcoming Iron Man 2, was shocked by the video. “When you look at something like the circus, and everyone’s laughing and there’s color and there’s music and everything seems so great, but when you go right behind that door and [the animals are] in these crates all day long and then they’re getting shocked and beat just so they can get up and dance around on a ball,” she says. “It was just so sickening.”

Munn went on to ask her friends to use their social networking sites to help get the word out about circus animal cruelty.

Munn is calling on her fans to join her in boycotting the circus. “I think it’s really important,” she says, “that everyone at home, if you have a Twitter or MySpace or Facebook [page] or … your own blog, you have to get the message out because every extra person who hears about it―it just helps.”

Donate to The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tennessee that provides a retirement savanna for aging and crippled elephants from circuses and zoos across the country.

Jenna Jameson’s twins daddy Tito Ortiz, who was arrested for allegedly assaulting mother of his children, gave a news conference as soon as he got out of jail (watch video below) to claim Jenna’s addiction to Oxycontin led to the alleged domestic violence incident (read more details/photos here).

However, Tito’s lawyer, Chip Matthews also says, “Tito never touched Jenna.” Jenna has reportedly been struggling with painkiller addiction for more than a year, which has led to several suicide calls to 911. That morning she had a relapse “and suffered the consequences of that”.

Jenna, who has a temporary (1 month) restraining order against Tito, said he is lying to save his career. The truth is Jenna got hurt doing their “argument”. Tito emotionally said he hopes “Jenna will be okay.” Tito added, “my parents have gone through addiction and I’m not going to let my family go through that.”

According to Jenna, she said “something very hurtful to his ego” and he reacted, grabbing her and throwing her into the bathtub causing her to tore two ligaments on her shoulder. Tito denies these accusations and simply says Jenna had an “emotional meltdown” when confronted with her addiction.

The famous Hollywood sign that is a must-see for all that visit Los Angeles and that is iconic from the movies has been saved by Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

The Trust for Public Land had needed $12.7 million to purchase the land and sign from a developer that was willing to sell the land to be divided off and developed.

When the campaign to save the ‘sign’ was $900,000 short Hefner came forward with a donation to help save the sign.

In 1978, Hefner played a major role in a campaign to fix up the then-terribly dilapidated Hollywood sign. Ensuring that the land would remain undeveloped was worth taking action again, he said.

“It’s like saying let’s build a house in the middle of Yellowstone Park. There are some things that are more important. The Hollywood sign represents the dreams of millions. It’s a symbol. It is as the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. It represents the movies.”

The Tiffany & Co. foundation and Aileen Getty also came forward with $500,000 at the last minute to help save the sign as well.

The land was owned for a long time by Hollywood mogul Howard Hughes and for decades after his death by his estate. In 2002, a group of investors from Chicago purchased the land from the estate.  They had plans to develop it into luxury homes (or at least that was the ploy), before selling the land to the Trust for Public Land.
